Excellent LED lights. They have built in resistors and are easy to use. Good quality.

I have not used these yet, I bought 3 light ones to light O gauge passenger cars. These are warm white and suitable (I also bought another bulb.;.. but it was a bluish LED. I will find use for these since they are ready to go for 18 volts, and at 50 cents each, are worth the trouble of not having to solder up your own. Good productl....if they last.

With the interdiction of led lights my desire to add lights to my layout I tried other lighting options but the size and price I came back to these little led. You can place them anywhere without seeing them. I spent a few moments checking the leads for positive with a 9 volt battery and off we go. I use double sided tape to attach them inside my buildings and what a surprise these little lights do. My only problem was soldering longer leads on them the wire is very thin and the coating was tough. Other than that these lights are well worth the cost and I am counting how many more I need.. one thing I enjoy was the plug & play already installed resistor on the light. So easy to use no heat just light but I found out that a splicer plug from a different company works great to add leads to this light but don’t try to mix with company’s system light or power pack. These little LED's are just what I was looking for and they are perfect for my project. The small size is just what I needed to affix a few of these to (the ceiling, so to say....) of my indoor Christmas nativity stable. The small size of these is perfect and the warm white color temperature (the hue) light output is exactly what I was looking for and will illuminate the holy family beautifully. These will be powered with a 12 volt power adapter and I'll build a very small project box that will house a 5.5x2.5 female barrel jack to accept the 5.5x2.5 male barrel plug on the adapter and affix it to the back side of my nativity. These little LED's throw out a good amount of light so I figure I'll need about four of them for my nativity project. The LED's throw good light with 9 volts applied to them too, in case anyone feels the 12 volt is too bright. Or you could always diffuse the light too. Very pleased with these!

Good product, easy to use and met my expectations, just wish the wires were longer than 6-7 inches.

I ordered these lights to use in my model railroad layout for older buildings where I could not get bulbs for outdated sockets. The wires are very short and very flimsy. There are no instructions for how to attach these to a power source or how to extend to reach a power source. The exposed part of the wire is too short to twist to another wire to reach the power source. Since I am a novice at this, I thought this might provide an easy source of lighting for several older buildings and light tower that I have. I am returning this. If you are experienced with set ups, this might be an adequate product for you but not for a novice.

These LEDs are prewired with resistors that are consistent with model train DC transformer output. I have several different types, including this one, I use for a variety locomotives depending on their mounting requirements. As simply wired in, they are single directional; i.e. only when the loco is moving forward or wired to come when on in reverse. I believe they can be bi-directional if you use a rectifier bridge. I'm satisfied with a simple single direction only. When used with HO diesel locomotives the light is extremely and consistently bright regardless of voltage input and looks the way a prototypical engine looks like at night.
