An excellent budget tire so far!
I put these on a 2011 Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX. It had Dunlop on it when I bought it, and they were already towards the end of their life cycle. By the time fall started, they had become choppy and cords started showing. I wanted a good sport touring tire, and almost went with Dunlop again. In my research I came across the Pirelli line, and learned about these. The ST line are two generations old now, but Pirelli still makes them new (and these were only a few months old when I got them). Quality wise they are what you'd expect. Very attractive tire with what seems to be very high quality rubber. I've only put about 2-400 miles on them before winter came, but have ridden in the dry and the wet, and relatively cold (about 45°F) and they have performed amazingly. Grip has been non-stop, I certainly do not have the bike or the skill to over ride these tires. They have performed excellent in the rain, with no hints of hydroplaning or traction loss. Even in the cold, there wasn't a drastic grip loss waiting for them to heat up. I have had them up to triple digit speeds as well, and of course they held up fine. They are very quiet and don't seem to add sort of discomfort over harsh roads. The newer generations of this tire line (the GT and I believe GT2) are supposed to be better, and I'm sure they are, but for the price I truly believe these are the best tire for the money so far. I will update when they start to wear down, but I expect at least 8k miles out of them considering the bike and rider weight and riding style. These were installed 9/19/24 at 36425 miles. Edit 6/13/25 at 38200 miles: Tires are still great. Still extremely happy with them. They do definitely lean more towards the touring side of sport touring though as I learned when I felt these next to my buddies new Battleax Tires. Jeez those are soft.

Awesome tires, Awesome price
Awesome tires that also look great on motorcycle. When delivered tires were new fresh rubber, dated 1625 which make them only 6 months old at time of install. I mounted + balanced both tires on a 2019 Kawasaki Z900RSC with no issues. The front tire: 120/70ZR17 / Rear tire: 180/55ZR17. After 200 miles of riding; grip, handling, corning, smoothness, and straight away speeds have been perfect. On the highway or mountain roads, tires do the job and inspire confidence. Have not had these in the rain yet, so we will see. I have been riding since 1986 both dirt + street and I am happy with these tires, especially the low price! Highly Recommend 5 stars.

Great deal..... great tires
Okay, so I got this deal for front and rear tires 229 delivered for the angel St I ...'ve been so happy with the angel GT I figured what the heck give it a try and see if I can notice a difference. now I have a pure sport CBR 1000 RR so here's my take on putting a sport touring tire on a bike that people more often put on track tires.. my mechanic said that he noticed the tires were heavier then the angel gt's that I had, and after driving the bike I asked whether he meant physically heavier or heavier feeling in the steering because that's kind of what I noticed; it has more of a cruiser feel... it doesn't cut quite as hard, it's more relaxed and laid back, and I'm an aggressive driver so it's still cuts just fine for me, but you might notice that it's more of a dull knife approach as opposed to a switchblade with the tires people usually put on these bikes. next time I'll probably go back to the GT unless I'm financially strapped, again .. still happy I got these, as it is a different feel...I don't need to drop into a corner like I just jumped out of a plane... these turn plenty hard enough, just a heavier feel. And I believe lean them all the way over to the side no chicken strips on my tires and very good traction haven't tried the rain yet the GT'S were great in the rain curious what these feel like but not looking forward to it lol

Recent manufacture in 2018
Both tires were manufactured in 2018 IAW date code at the end of the DOT number. Still have to mount them on my VFR800FI. Should be great, they're Pirelli's! UPDATE: Got tires on the bike, stick like glue once the surface treatment wore off. Good to go! UPDATE: These are the BEST tires I have ridden on. Put about 1k miles on them, still stick like glue, very little wear so far but I don't do any burn outs. Handles well & smooth up to 130 mph (I do ride fast!) I'm gonna order another set b4 they are gone. Keep the shiny side up & ride safe. UPDATE 07/2021: Still have a good amt of tread left on the frt tire. The rear tire has begun to show steel belts in the center of the tread but I still have the small tread voids in the center of the tread showing. It appears that the belts were high in rubber, as I have never run a tire to the belts/cords before this. I have never had voids still showing on the tread and had to replace the tire because of carcass exposure. I have already gotten another set of these tires to put on, and will rate them on the new review of that set. These are great tires and I hope that this set was just a hiccup in manufacturing. Still grip great and I have never felt like they would slip when leaned over even at hi speed. Update: 02/2023 purchased another set of these Angel ST tires in 11/2022, and my steel belt is starting show thru again with the middle tread just about to reach the tread wear indicators. This still seems like the steel belts are high in the rubber but other than that these still perform well and I have confidence in the grip of the tire in a turn at high speed (I ride routinely at 85-100 mph on freeway here in CA). I will have these mounted tomorrow. This makes the 3rd set of these tires I have put on this bike and I still recommend them for their grip and feel of the road dry or wet, I also ride in the rain when it comes down and don't notice much difference when it is wet.
