I had the light with just white lights already and adding the color lights was so much more pretty! And I liked that the color lights had a variety of colors - red, green, or blue. I had them in my yard all Christmas season and used them for the Christmas party at my church, which the kids just loved! My class is 6-7 year olds and I turned off the lights and the whole room was a mass of moving circles of light! Very fun! My only complaint is that if you set the lights for say blue color, the light resets to red once its turned off. So everyday you have to go out and reset it to the different color. That is a pain when its 10 below outside! I bought 3 lights, I had to wire in a low voltage plug just to get them to work. One of them I could not get to work. I took the whole thing apart to find out that it was completely water wrong to the board so I had to fix that also. If I was not good with electronics repair these would have been useless pieces of junk!I would have given 5 stars if they would have work properly and I would have been told what was needed to make them work properly. I also had to order 8 inch disco balls to act as the snowball that came In the large kit. It must be disassembled unplugged, semi packed and put back together, each night making sure the angle and distance is correct to get the snow lights to show properly.
