Acoustic Hits: MTV Unplugged

The songs are fantastic. Even more important is the soul that comes through in each song. So much modern music might as well be AI generated. Take on Me will help you forget the pop version. They were a "one hit wonder" in the US, not Europe. Check out the YouTube versions.

I saw Aha in a list of One-Hit-Wonders recently and thought.... maybe in teh USA, but they were huge in some other countries. I really do enjoy their music and can't figure out how they didn't catch on here.

This is a different version of A-Ha's greatest hits but in a slow and acoustic style. Very relaxing. The sound quality will be appreciated by audiophiles. Wish it was available on vinyl. Only critical comment is there is applause at end of tracks which sounds dubbed in, artificial and not needed. Overall if you are a fan of A-Ha you will be an enjoyable experience.

Great music. Acoustic material works well for A-Ha. Well recorded. My case came cracked. Poor Amazon packaging.

Good sound and nice music.

a-ha unplugged was a terrific performance but some of the songs were unnecessary in my opinion and this abridged version spares us the bloat. Also the ovations of the audience are tamed in this edit which makes for an overall more pleasant listening experience. The order of the songs was changed in accordance with the chronology of their release dates rather than their place in the set. I would have preferred their order the consistent with how they were performed but it's not a deal breaker for me.

This album really shows that music can mature and fulfill its destiny. They music stands on its own and the true emotion shines from within without all the 80s slickness.

The band is still going strong with this collection of their hits performed with an orchestra that gives each song an even more impressive sound.
