It is supposed to be herbal so don't think. But am not sure. Earlier they had a shampoo called neem which was great. They seem to have introduced this neem plus in place but found it harsh. No longer the earlier quality

The scent is terrible. I cannot use it. My husband used it. We have been using for about 1 month, what we found out is that some scalp acne was gone and some still stays. Lets see how it will be after 2 months !
