Love the celery taste!!

I love this lovage. It is a very good quality. I usually have lovage in the garden, but my plants died in spring and I didn't have the time to replant. In Europe we call it Maggi Kraut! Its very healthy for the digestion. I really missed it in my soups and sauces it just gives food it a nice flavor will buy it again.

Love the smell put in my smoothy for inflamation every morning, smells like butter.

Product is fine I assume, but I always forget I shouldn't order food on amazon unless it's in glass or a foil lined stand up pouch. They fog it with chemicals that have a strong airfreshener like smell that gets through plastic packaging and into the food.

I wasn't able to harvest much from my own plants this season. It is great being able to purchase from another grower. Lovage is great as a celery substitute in recipes. It is especially good in spicy dishes like Chile Verde Chicken or Pork. One of its properties is to dispel the discomfort of heartburn or indigestion.

This herb is an excellent addition to soups, salads and many other dishes as it has a fairly strong celery flavor and really brightens up the dish! Nearly impossible to find it locally and the package contains a good supply that will last quite a while as a teaspoon is usually all that is required to instill it's flavor in most dishes.
