This is a weird and wonderful little tool! First of all, the oil. I thought it smelled weird, and I didn't like it at all. But something kept itching the back of my mind so I started doing my homework. The oil is kukumadi oil, which is a blend of several things including milk. The main ingredient is saffron, which is excellent for your skin. The weird smell was the saffron! After I had that lightbulb moment everything settled. While I'm okay with the smell, saffron is not on my list of favourites. But its tolerable, and the benefits are worth it. The kukumadi oil is very light and soaks in quickly. It comes in a tiny roller bottle (I mean, it's a sample so don't expect a full size!) I've yet to remove the roller but you can just roll it on your face or fingers to apply, There was no irritation when I put it around my eyes and lips. Now on to the kansa wand. I've tried gua sha before and it's nice, but it never really did the job. Sometimes it caused acne, I think because I was using the gua sha wrong and pushing oil into my pores. The kansa wand fixes that weird grip that I have with the gua sha. I have much more control and it still feels really, really nice. I can use it quickly in the morning to do a little lyphatic drain on my face and neck. Kansa is made from bronze. Bronze is partially made from copper, which has antibacterial properties among others. You will definitely need an oil, preferably kumkumadi oil, to use as a lubricant on your face when you use the kansa wand. This kansa wand in particular as a good weight to it, but not too heavy. The massage end is easy to clean. It's very smooth and feels cool against my skin, which is absolutely wonderful. It's a little luxury and I highly recommend it.

I was skeptical about this little simple device; I did some outside research on this type of product (such a low price often turns me off skin treatment products). I'm SO HAPPY TO GIVE THIS LITTLE DEVICE FIVE GOLDEN STARS!!! My first use resulted in spots of head & face pain but that was my fault: I used too much pressure. Now I use it as shown in a YouTube video -- on clean dry skin, then a generous application of a good face oil, and gentle specific use of the wand on face and neck area. I use my favorite OIL: Josie Maran Cold-Pressed Organic Moroccan ARGAN OIL (I have mixed in a bit of Organic Hemp Oil and/or therapeutic CBD in coconut oil base). THE SPARSE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE PACKAGE ARE INADEQUATE FOR BEST USAGE AND RESULTS. FIND THE YOU TUBE VIDEO TO LEARN HOW (AND HOW NOT) TO USE. I spend 10 minutes at night after getting into bed, gently following the specific instructions from the online Video, and firstly it nearly puts me to sleep! Secondly, my facial skin is AMAZING in the morning! I don't know how this little Wand works its Magic but I can't recommend it highly enough; for anyone who loves to have their face massaged it's maybe even better because one can tailor the movements to one's own bone structure and problem areas. The recommended pressure is to move the wand so GENTLY on the oil surface that one's skin shouldn't get 'PULLED/MOVED AROUND". I'm gifting one to my adult son who always asked me to massage his face at bedtime when he was a stressed-out 12-year old middle-schooler! Try this Wand -- you'll be happily surprised by the benefits.

This wand is wonderful. I use it with organic fractionated coconut oil or Youth to the People Glow oil and it glides effortlessly over my face, neck and décolletage. I have not experienced any discoloration on my face or the wand after use. It comes in a velvet bag which is great for storage. I ordered the small, which is still quite big, and I find it the perfect size; especially for the eye and nose areas. I use it in the morning to help prep my skin for moisturizers and makeup. It helps stimulate blood flow and serum absorption which creates a smooth surface for the makeup. It cleans easily with a damp cloth. I have not used it on my feet and I would probably buy a second one rather than use the same wand for my face and feet. The wand came with a free gift of a sujok ring which I've used on all my fingers twice a day, morning and night, and I'm completely addicted to it. I plan on buying more of both for gifts. I did not receive any discounts for my review.

The surface is so smooth it glides gently across the face even without oil. I get many headaches and this is perfect for gently massaging my scalp. Great quality.
