These calipers are a tremendous help with determining the regularity of the rhythm (R-R and P-P intervals). Some of my classmates use the same model caliper to measure the waves and intervals but I find it easier to count the squares on the EKG paper.The price is great for these calipers. They feel sturdy and I have no fear of breaking them (hence I keep them at the bottom of a crowded backpack). The plastic cover fits snugly on the calipers so it wont fall off but it is still easily removed. The pins are very sharp and strong which make tracing intervals too easy.
