The book is not really for those who wish to construct their model submarines who are  looking for ideas , constructional information etc . It is largely references to kits (alas too old ) awailable in USA.  I'd suggest book by Norbert Bruggen - Model Submarine Technology: Radio Control Systems, Auxiliary Functions, Diving Techniques, Attitude Control has much more in it
