Nice clean model when complete
I've built about 30 of these Metal Earth models now. This one really looks nice when completed. For those complaining about the small size and the small parts to bend, roll, etc; that's part of the challenge - to have such a small completed model with this much detail.

Great challenge, not great for beginners
Beautiful finished piece, but it is definitely one of the more challenging ones I have ever done. Definitely would not recommend for a beginner, but if you've done a few and want a decent challenge this is a good model. Definitely good to have a few different shapes and sized tools because there are a lot of really smalls bends, especially with the rim pieces.

Too Small
If you would double the scale you could sell a zillion of these things - they are great except for the tiny size of the parts - need a microscope for some. Double the size would be 5 stars easy.

First Metal Earth Model
Being a long time model builder (mostly ships), I was intrigued with these miniature metal models. The instructions were easy to read and well organized, but pay very close attention the sequence of steps as some may work better in a different order. There were no issues with fit or finish. One thing I learned was not to lay the sheets on top of one another once parts start coming out. There will be sharp edges and stacking the sheets may create scratches in the finish of the adjacent sheet. There are many very small parts that have to be folded or formed, so if you are inexperienced with such parts there is going to be a learning curve. The proper tools are essential for assembly. Long nose non-serrated pliers and a variety of tweezers are necessary. If you have experience with photo etched parts, it will be helpful. I used the techniques for bending photo etched on many of the smaller parts. Once a small part is assembled (i.e. headlights and/or running lights) you have to be careful when handling the model as these parts can easily be bent out of position or even broken off, if you are not paying attentions. This model is rated as intermediate, so if you have no experienceit is suggested that you choose an easier model to begin with. All in all the quality of the kit is above average and with care will produce a model you can be proud of.

Fun kits!!!
Very nicely made and detailed model. Small and challenging. I really enjoy building these metal models. It does take some patience to learn how to assemble these kits, but once you learn the tricks it's very satisfying!

Piezas muy pequeñas por lo que debe tenerse cuidado al armar. Existe riesgo de romper las pestañas de las uniones.

Many pieces too tiny to hold.
Unless you are ready to use a magnifying glass and work with tiny pin vices, you'll be unlikely to assemble this model. The first 15 pieces were about .125 x .25 inches in size. They needed to be folded and assembled with micro tweezers (which I have). The next piece needed to be folded into about a dozen angles with no guidance. I'll leave this for the true experts.

These kits build up to about the size of a hot wheels car, so be prepared for small parts, (some parts are less than 5mm in size). The precise way everything folds and fits together and the fact they provide extra pieces of the smaller parts in case, like I did, you lose one makes these kits a fun and rewarding challenge. I have a few of these now and plan to buy more.
