Q: Does anyone know what variety of tarragon is in this package? is it mexican or russian? french has to be started from root stock.

From my experience, you cannot grow French Tarragon from seed, so I presume it is the less potent Russian variety.

Q: Can i plant these seeds directly into my patio container after the last frost or do i need to start them indoors first? i live in zone 9b

You should have no problems planting them straight to your container… You’ll have a high germination rate with the seeds. The only thing you need to be concerned about is heavy rains obviously winds once they start growing just protect them from the elements and you’ll be fine.

Q: What seeds are in the vegetable packs?

This depends on which one you purchase. The 15 herb seed vault included something different since I chose the 20 herb seed pack. You can see the varieties on the label.

Q: What kind of mint is included?

Mountain mint which is called common mint as well.
