This recorder works incredibly well. I was skeptical because of the low price, but it works. It can even pick up soft talkers and whispering to some extent. This is perfect for recording a lecture.It's also very user friendly. I did need to skim the manual, but was up and running in a matter of a couple of minutes.I could not figure out how to get auto recording to work and the manual states that it is not recommended to use this feature. I believe the feature is probably there, but maybe not. It might have been disabled.Pros:- The manual claims it will record for 30 hours on the default settings.- Intuitive interface- Intuitive manual- Incredibly sensitive and able to pick up soft talkers and to some extent whispering- Very small. Even the videos didn't give it justice on it's size. It's tiny.Cons:- Auto record either doesn't exist or is difficult to figure outI can't speak on durability though, but I did drop it from 3 feet on to concrete the first day. Ugh, thought at that low of a price it would break, but it did not!

Compact and light weight. Perfectly catches all sound around it. Great for whispered conversations. My son loves it, great addition to his spy gadgets.

Easy enough to use, though the audio skips occasionally, making the person in the audio recording stutter. Not exactly optimal, but at least it works. The sound quality is ok, though it doesn't do well with low pitches. The battery lasts surprisingly long. I like that it is small and portable, but the sound quality could use many improvements.

I've had this recorder for a year now and it's still performing like the first day. I even got one for my daughter when she started actual college attendance. We both have ADHD, so being able to listen to lectures multiple times really helps.The other thing I love is that it is small and fits in my backpack without taking up a lot of space. It can be carried in a pocket without being noticed. I used to set it on the front of my desk at school and nobody noticed I was recording the lecture. I had a classmate that sat next to me miss class one day and asked what we covered when they came back.
