Not overly hard to get them in. Seems to be a fine product for what I need it to do, be handy near the shotgun if there are any bumps in the night. Main thing I want to put out because I could not find it anywhere, the size. He said if the shell is bumped it can slide up or down, but stays in the loop. The buckle is plastic, but well made. Very stiff belt. He said its good for hunting but will not use all the loops provided as it would be too heavy/cumbersome to wear.
