The Original Slinky Walking Spring Toy, 2.75-inch Diameter Metal Slinky, Fidget Toys

This is the original slinky. Probably. It is so good. I highly recommended my sister loved using it, although she bent it a little too far and it was like a little Ben, so just don’t bend it so far but I have recommend this. This is so fun. It’s very nice and it has a hard time getting tangled, which is perfect for playtime.

Slinkies are good for more than just fun. It can assist in keeping squirrels away from bird feeders. Update: May 4th 2026. The slinky works okay on the pictured feeder. It didn't work for long on the shepherd's hook feeder. These slinkies are cheap and they're made as toys. Squirrels managed to stretch the Slinky out. After that they were basically able to use it like stairs. 🤣

Exactly as described, the old traditional slinky. They are made of metal and strong materials. Super fun to tap into some nostalgia. Exact size that I remember and great value for what you get. Better than the plastic ones.

Better as a toy than as a squirrel deterrent on a shepherd's hook for bird feeders. It didn't discourage the squirrels for more than an hour. But it's a great toy.

We got 2 Slinkies to prevent the squirrels from eating us out of house and home with our 2 feeders. Both feeders are hanging from Shepard poles and were under daily threat from the "Nut Faces." We attached the Slinkies from the top of the poles and let the remaining length simply hang down. TOTAL SUCCESS. The squirrels get on the pole and gently slide to the ground. After a few tries, they run across the street. No more daily filling of the feeders. I should mention also that the birds are not the least bit distracted by the Slinkies. As a matter of fact many times they perch on it and feed. This was the best investment we ever made to save our seed.

Just like i remember. The material is sturdy and nicely polished. Very fun and relax to play with.

Didn't hold up long, lost spring action after several plays

Bought this for my niece because, why not! a slinky is a classic and I need to add a couple bucks to get over night delivery. haha. feel like everyone knows what a slinky is. if you don't have stairs don't buy it.

I bought this as a present for Christmas and was bitterly disappointed when I saw that it did not slink down the stairs in the age old way that I remembered from my childhood! I bought this brand as it stated that is is the original, so I assumed that it must be and they would produce one that would be quality, but I am at a loss as to why I cannot get it to slink. In it's favour, it is well made and looks nice, but that was sadly not the reason I purchased it!

J'ai choisi Slinky comme objet de détente, et aussi parce que j'avais un ressort plastique qui n'a pas duré étant enfant. Je le manipulais beaucoup... Ici, le ressort est durable et de bonne qualité. Retrouver cette sensation sur un autre ressort d'une autre matière, c'est que du bonheur. La hauteur du Slinky mesure 5,5cm pour un diamètre intérieur de 6,5cm. Diamètre extérieur 6,7cm. Malgré mes grandes paluches, le Slinky se tient très bien dans la main. Bonne prise en main donc. Je ne l'ai pas encore testé dans les escaliers car ce n'est pas pour cela que je l'ai acheté mais qui sait, l'occasion se présentera et je le ferais. (^_^) Je recommanderais Slinky à mon entourage.

El clásico muelle. Le damos uso en casa y no pierde la forma ni se enreda como otros muelle. Ojo, porque el diámetro es más pequeño de lo que parece.
