Outstanding Material and a Bargain
Compared to what an RV repair shop charged me to replace the fabric on a motorhome slideout awning topper, this is a SUPER DEAL! Exactly the correct size, and the two plastic ribs preinstalled on each side of the fabric made installing this fabric easy. Cutting it to size is a breeze when using the old fabric as a guide. The two toppers on my motorhome are 7โ and 25โ long. I replaced the short one. So Iโve still got enough to do the short one TWICE more AND the long one once. My advice is to replace the fabric BEFORE it completely rips off your motorhome. Once that happens, the springs unload. Itโs not too difficult to retention the springs; however, you have to know how many turns to rotate the tube to achieve the proper tension without over doing the springs. If you see your awning topper fabric beginning to tear at the ends where it is affixed to the motorhome, order this material and get the job done ASAP. You will thank yourself profusely. For those wondering, the shop charged me $815 to replace the 25โ fabric after the material had ripped off entirely. Consider that the fabric cost them $85 at most!!! Thatโs a seriously nice profit eh.

Slide topper felt replacement
This is a DIY project. Slide-topper replacement is in a nice box and easily able to roll out, cut to length. If you are replacing due to felt torn into, just make sure you reset the roller with enough tension to roll it up as the slide is returned back in. Two persons job make easy work on installing it. One pulling it and the other helps feed it into the track.

Excellent product.
Installed this product on one of my Motorhome slides. Been over a year and still holding up really well. Great product.

Not bad as a replacement but......
The original topper is stitched down the sides, this is not so it's unknown how resilient it will be. I agree wholeheartedly that 50' for $160 is way better than 81" for $230. However, I had researched this and read the reviews about not stretching it so I was super careful to roll it out of the box. It took me a bit to cut through it with a razor knife so that gave me some hope. It was easy to install but as careful as I was one side was tight and the other had a sag in it. I had to slide the material way to one side of the roller just to make it somewhat better. It's not horrible but, if it was stretched like that right out of the box it makes me wonder how long it will last. Hopefully, it will! (Update) I had mentioned in this review that I had to slide the material over on the roller after being very careful to center everything. It made a big difference and as I looked at it I noticed that the original was the same way so maybe there was a reason for it. The longer this Solaris material has been on the slide out, the more it has settled in. It worked out fine the remainder of the camping season. I will update again as we go into next season.

Rv slider topper material
This roll of Solera slide topper fabric was a so much cheaper than having professionals to replace topper material. It comes in a 50 ft roll that already has the plastic cord sewn in to it. My husband and son were able to replace all 5 of our slide toppers. We found the easiest thing to do was to manually roll out the topper all the way and then use a clamp to keep it from rolling back up. You donโt want to let it roll back up until you get the new material slide in the rails. Otherwise the spring on the topper mechanism will be really hard to turn back in. It took a couple of hours and we had all 5 of our changed. We just pulled the roll out and laid the old on top for a measurement then cut it to th same size as the old topper. Hope this helps. I added pics of the clamps used.

Care Free Awning direct fit
This roll worked perfect for replacing our Care Free slide out toppers. Installation was easy, but I would recommend cutting the cordage 1/2" longer on either end as it shrank in the heat during our installation of the slideouts.

2008 Jayco Seneca 38MS
So your slide covers are brittle broke and rolled into the housing. My Seneca has a 24 foot wall slide. Where can I get something this long. NOWHERE. how much for a new one oh maybe in the neighborhood of 500$ or more! Some one might cut you a custom length one and ship it for 10 times the gas to drive across the country and get it your self. Thus the Solera in a box. 50 feet of DIY bliss. is it hard to install NOPE. Mine is a carefree SOK and there are plenty of youtubes on how to do it. What I learned is all slide outs use this width dimension even if its longer or shorter coming out it will not exceed the width you need. this is truly universal. As far as durability I dont know and really dont care as there is enough in the box to do this maybe twice. Heavier material double stitch, custom cut to fit, whatever the market is telling you to buy more expensive fabric don't, once it starts billowing and tearing down the cords it doesn't matter how much you spent on the fancy fabric. Another tip is: If your awning was cut by a amish guy on crack as all rvs are made like crap. pay attention to your slide topper overhang if it isnt longer then your slide out walls your gonna have a super expensive leak in your slideout box. Run this fabric as long as the tube will allow giving maybe 1/2-3/4 inch play on each end this will ensure the water runs off the side of the fabric and not down your slideout walls rotting them out. The simple fact it comes in a 50ft roll if you have long slides is enough to pull the trigger on this fabric. This is a reasonably priced product for a seemingly difficult task of renewing your slide out awnings. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Received what was in picture.
Good material & good shipping. BUT the headline gave two numbers but didn't appear to be anywhere to select which one I wanted. One number was for black & the other white. Wanted white but got black.

Great quality and price.
Very happy with the product quality over the RVs original equipment. Install was simple with 2 people. NOTE- use caution when cutting off first section. The leading edge which I initially used for my measurement was not straight. Panel was loner on one side by almost 3 inches from the other. Used a square to set a straight line, cut and then redid the measurement. SUCCESS!
