Imperial Home Cake Stand 6 in 1 - Multi Use Serving Tray and Bowl

I have recently started baking cakes for myself, special occasions, and to just say hello to neighbors and family. I have a few very nice glass and crystal cake domes. I've never felt comfortable taking those domes out of the house. I've always used a large plastic cake transportation container I bought at Walmart.This dome is made out of acrylic and priced much lower than fine class or fine crystal. I purchased this one on special for under $15. This one just fits inside of the plastic transport container for a solid clamp down attachment. When I get where I'm going I can display my cake much nicer now without the the fear of breaking something more expensive. I've washed it in my dishwasher with no ill effects.This would also be very nice for someone on a budget. I have to touch it before I realize it is not glass. This could be a nice touch for the adults to appreciate using with a kids birthday party. You get the idea. For either out of necessity or just because your need doesn't allow you to use something more expensive, this is a very good and beautiful product.There are also other reasons to use this product, such as a chip and dip server or a punch bowl. I have priced these items, I use similar items and for the price and beauty, this item should not be passed up.Edit: I would like to point out Elegant 6 in 1 Cake Plate ~ Features a Cake Plate with Dome, Punch Bowl, Divided Appetizer Platter looks like the identical product except with a shipping charge larger than the cost of the item.

Excellent product. I put it on the dinner table to stow away unfinished foods, cakes, fruits and so on. You can put a regular dinner plate in it. Also, I can use this as a house-fly trap following some design idea from U- Tube.

Although it wasn't exactly what they asked for for Christmas I think it's better!! This thing does so much! And at such a better price then the other ones that I was looking at! From cake to punch it does it all. It's not small either!

Must not have noticed the description stating it was plastic. Was shocked when I opened the box. Not too cheaper looking plastic. Decided to keep anyway for everyday use, but I'll have to get a glass one.

well it technically does everything it says it does, but i would not recommend this for a trifle. it should lock into place, but it doesn't. it IS a good covered tray though.

Item is made of poor quality plastic AND it arrived with three (3) cracks around the handle of the bowl which renders it useless. When I reviewed the return policy I don't get an EXCHANGE option plus I have to pay the return postage. In the recycle bin it goes!

Worked fairly well as a punch bowl. The base of the punch bowl was a little too small to make it useful to hold extra fruit.
