Set-up was easier than I thought
It does everything it should and even more. Relatively easy to set up, but many options as file or db-server, cloud, email server.

Great NAS RAID for an excellent price.
An excellent entry-level RAID. I have it set up as a RAID 6. Transfer rates are excellent, and I have not had any problems at all. Updates are easy, scrubbing is a click, and it's working without an issue. My only beef would be that two of the bays would not stay closed, so I had to lock them. But I did that once, and I've never had to open it, so I don't see that as an issue.I have this set up to store our VM and file backups, but it is not joined to the domain or mapped as a network drive. I have great peace of mind knowing that even if, somehow, the servers were to get hit with ransomware or some other virus I could not eliminate, I could blow everything away and have it all back up in a few hours just as it was the night before.
