I paid full Amazon price for this! I did not receive this as a promotion in exchange for a review! (But would happily take part in any opportunities—this product is fantastic!) I bought the black zip-up hoodie in XL. It’s quite long on me, as I’m 5’2”, which is perfect for me. It fits under slightly oversized coats, over sweaters, and is warm enough for Chicagoland’s Fall/Spring even without the heat on. I tried two other heated sweatshirts/vests before this, and one stopped working after 10 minutes and the other was so incredibly hot around the body that my arms felt like ice. This is definitely the Goldilocks pick. I’ve used it for 15-35 minutes twice a day since I received it (2 weeks maybe?) on High heat, and it’s amazing. I have several syndromes that cause muscle spasms in cold and have caused arthritis, and the back and neck heating patches protect my spine perfectly. Once my wheelchair van warms up, I definitely need to turn the sweatshirt down or off. I do wish that the back heated patch was longer, so it covered more of my spine’s length, but given my experiences with other brands, I’ll accept a slightly less-than-perfect heating placement for the most versatile weight, size, and so far, reliability. The battery usually loses only one bar for 30m on high, and it recharges within 30 minutes. The heating elements themselves are extremely comfortable. I can barely tell that they’re there. Highly recommend!

The hoodie is comfortable and durable. The heat coming from the hoodie does help to keep you warm. Good quality product.

I love this hoodie! I wear it everyday, I'm even wearing it right now! It's super cool how the battery doubles as a power bank, feature that I use a lot. I don't really like how it has three levels of heat too, really makes the difference versus some of the other ones that are just on or off. I wish that the heating coils were in more areas, especially the lower back, that would be so freaking nice! It's really the only thing that it's missing. I tell you what this jacket was so handy, when I hurt my back it doubled as a heat pad. While I was on break at work I was nursing my wound with electric heated hoodie! Just want to confirm it washes just fine, I do put it on delicates, and make sure you take the battery out first obviously. I don't stick it in the dryer I just hang it over the back of a dining table chair to dry overnight and it's usually good by the morning. Sometimes it takes a full 24 hours to air dry without proper circulation or when it's cold out like this. (It's currently 40° on average throughout the day here as I'm writing this) Luckily the logo is pretty small, even though it's not ugly it's not exactly name brand.. I think the only thing other than the heating pad locations/ amount that I would change is perhaps the battery connection type, right now it's one of those circular old school kind of plugs, so you can't really change out the power bank for a larger capacity one. Now that would be nice. This one is a 4800 mAh, it wouldn't cost a lot to put a much larger one in but you'd have to figure out how to connect it. I think the price is okay but if you wait for a sale like I did you won't have any regrets with this purchase in my opinion. The zipper works awesome, and it's very comfortable I've even slept in it. It has a bit of weight to it, not super heavy but you definitely notice the battery weight, it's going to take a little getting used to. (Going back to what I said before about swapping out the power bank, that's another reason you might want to if you could, I know you can get the same capacity only lighter by now, and every gram lest this thing weighs the better I'm sure) The hoodie is a pretty decent style it's pretty much the same as you'd expect from any zip up hoodie, the zipper catch is cool, and the tag is pretty cool too. I can't tell you much about the durability necessarily yet, although I have had it for a year and it hasn't torn or anything on me yet.

I have a very windy, cold walk coming up every morning to work and last winter was brutal, even with a very good winter coat. I ordered this the other day to be prepared for this winter. I wore it to work today in place of a coat. Realized I had left the battery on (not the coat, I remembered to turn that off!) when I was testing it. It was dead. Was still warm on my way to work in 40° weather. Nice thick hoodie and well insulated even without the warmer on. Well, I charged the battery at work and turned it all the way up when I walked out. Within a block I was turning it down. Working two I had it off. By the time I got to the train I had it open. This hoodie is amazing. Perfect for 40° without the warmer on - will be amazing in the negative days! I’m 5’9, wear a size 24 in women’s. I ordered a 2xl mens and it fits well, with room to layer comfortably.

I bought this hoodie for sort of an out of the box reason - as a woman who is approaching a certain age, I wanted what I viewed as basically a wearable heating pad for the aches and discomfort that are getting progressively worse during hormone fluctuations. I hesitated on spending this much money on something that I thought was going to be for once in awhile use, but I am SO GLAD I bit the bullet and bought this thing. I'm also a hockey mom, and today in an ice cold rink, my toes were the only things that felt truly cold. I also own a Jeep Wrangler and this hoodie has just extended top down riding season into November. I read a million reviews before I chose this hoodie to purchase and one of them in particular that outlined the truly top notch quality of this hoodie was a large part of my decision making process, so I wanted to share my own extensive feedback. I'll start with quality, because that is what has truly knocked my socks off about this hoodie. It is a very heavyweight, nice feeling outer material, and lined with fleece throughout the whole sweatshirt. Fleece is in the sleeves. Fleece is in the hood. Fleece is in the pockets. The combination makes for a very solid fitting, super cozy sweatshirt. But despite fleece everywhere and a heavy duty outer material, the hoodie is surprisingly not too much to wear indoors. The construction is also top notch. The wrists are quite fitted and the hood is very generous - you are not going to be pulling at it or constantly repositioning it. This sweatshirt is an amazing pick even if you don't consider the heating elements. But it does have heating elements, and they are amazing too. I felt the back panel just one minute after turning it on. It heats up very quickly and while it kept me warm enough to exist comfortably in a rink so cold I could see my breath, it never became uncomfortably hot, even on the ride home. The positioning of the heating elements in this hoodie are exactly what I wanted for the chest and back comfort I was looking for when I first bought it. The battery pack sits in an inside zippered compartment behind the left hand pocket, and it is a tad bulky at first but I got used to it pretty quickly. If this hoodie was very fitted on my midsection though, I'd think the outline of the batter pack would have been visible. That might be a consideration for you depending on your body composition or how fitted you want this sweatshirt to be. As for sizing, I am 5'1", 135lbs and 36D. I typically wear a size S in most tops and size M in most sweatshirts or outer layers, but I went with the size S in this hoodie based on feedback in the reviews, and that ended up being the right size for me. I have room to wear a fleece Cuddl Duds layer under this if I'm prepping for really cold conditions, but it's fitted enough that I can fit it under my heavy duty winter parka. Size S fits on me in such a way that it's loose enough to give that comfortable sweatshirt feel but fitted enough that the heating elements feel good and I remain aware of them while I'm wearing the sweatshirt. Lots of people mention the light up emblem on the left breast as a negative, but I think it's kind of cool. It is really small and not visibly lit up at all in bright light (sunlight or fluorescents). It's also a super convenient place for the power button. Long story short, buy this hoodie. It is super, super high quality and not only will it slay at whatever use you already have in mind for it, you will also find other uses for it once you wear it and fall in love with it.

I just received the heated hoodie today so I haven't tried out the heat yet. But, right out the box, I'm happy so far and felt the need to share. 1- I reviewed this thing so deep you'd think it was a murder case. I noticed a lot of reviews talking about it being too small. I wear large tall. I'm 6'3" 225lbs. I ordered an XL because usually large regulars are too short in the sleeves. XL fits just as a sweatshirt should. Not to tight but not baggy. So if your into your jackets or sweatshirts being a little oversized then you should order a size up. Maybe 2. 2- It's got some weight to it. And not because of the heating elements. It's just a thick sweatshirt. Have you ever bought a GOOD hoodie? Not the thin cheap ones you get for $20 at the department store. But the ones that are thick. Comfy and warm ones. That's what this one feels like. I may not even need the heating element unless it's like 45 F or below. 3- So let's talk about the light. It's annoying. It's bright. It screams "Look at me! I've got a heated jacket. Ask me about it!". Obviously, I'm not a fan. But it is what it is. It definitely isn't a deal breaker for me but worse case scenario, I wear this under another jacket which I plan to do. (I bought this for work. I work in refineries). 4- Delivery! I feel this is odd to comment on because I think a bad/good delivery is completely random. BUT! I'm going to say my peace anyways. I live in southern Illinois. I ordered through Amazon prime. I placed the order Wednesday late afternoon and it arrived on my doorstop in 2 days on Friday at 1pm. So my particular delivery situation was awesome. BUT! You may not get the same situation. Never know. 4- The battery size is a 2" square at about 3/4" thick. Weighs about as much a roll of quarters and has its own little zip up pocket. Pocket is on the inside/lower front. I don't even notice it. 5- So I went with the zip up sweatshirt because I figured if it was brutally cold I can just wear it under my coat. And when it's just mildly cold I can still be comfortable. This sweatshirt has 2 front pockets for your hands. No inside pockets except for the small one for the battery. The hood is oversized so when you put it on it's not just covering half my head. The hood itself is also thick just like the jacket itself. The zipper is standard. Not heavy duty. It also has draw strings in the hood. As far as the heating elements and the wiring? You don't even know they are there. This item came with a travel bag to out it in. It came with battery and 1 charger which are both unique and can only be purchased through the brands company. Right now I am happy with it and would totally recommend to a friend. (Because you know they will be asking me about it. I'll be the only one with a bright light on my chest). I haven't tried the heating part yet but I will be updating this review soon. I plan to use this all next week.

Works great. The battery took a good 3 hours to fully charge. It last me from Friday to Monday using on off all days. The jacket is fully fleece lined throughout which is great to use as regular hoodie as well. The front heat I don't feel as much as the back ones but it's there and still great. The only negative part about it is the bottom elastic is a bit tight. So zippering is a bit of a pain but it's loose everywhere else. With the bottom elastic being tighter it makes the jacket bunch up to make you look like you have a belly. So have to constantly pull it all the way down to flatten out. I'm 120 5'5 and the small fits perfect. I can still put other jackets over it. The battery is on the larger side which I guess is a good thing but it is kind of bulky in your pocket in the front. But at least it's not in the back like other jackets. Overall I love it and my bf wants one now too.
