It is a clean instrument that appears to be mostly correct.

More expensive than some other detectors out there but has a lot of versatility. I use it to find residual or unwanted magnetic fields around sensitive equipment. since the fields I look for are both EM and permanent it is nice to have one detector to find both as well as the strength of the fields. It is a niche tool but helpful when troubleshooting magnetically sensitive equipment. The digital thermometer built into the probe is nice to have as well.

Works as described, comes in a nice kit. I’ve only used it a few times but seems like a quality meter.

It works very well. measures from single Gauss up to 1Tesla (that's all the field I can generate in my work) you could just build one for less with a multimer and hall probe but this is convenient so get one. The product has one thing I'm worried about which is when you unplug the probe, there's a give there that I worry will become a problem but the meter works great.

This thing is capable or performing basic measurements. However at its price point I bought it for software and some other features for more expanded measurements. Huge disappointment. Software is antiquated and glitching. Does not work as supposed to either. The instrument freezes too. Repeated 1 sec readings result in 20-30 freeze periods. Very annoying. Even when you make repeated measurements manually the thing freezes and has to be reset. A typical half-baked, half-finished asian product with spotty performance. Too expensive for this though.

I needed a tool to measure the magnetism surrounding very powerful magnets; their static magnetic fields. This was an advanced enough tool to do this precisely, with the potential to measure other fields as well.

Received as promised. The instrument works as described. It might be useful to have additional information regarding orientation of the detector and details of the separation between the item under test and the detector. Overall it works well.

The first unit was a failure, it did not work. Returned it and got a replacement. Hoping this one will not fail, so far so good. They said it's a new model for them. Their supplier should be scolded and told "this is a new model, test it thoroughly before releasing it" because it's a somewhat costly item, $400, so the expectation is not failing and having to return it.
