The Pilot Kakuno medium nib in pink is a good looking fountain pen with exceptional writing functionality. The body of the pen is plastic and well made. The pen ships directly from Japan in most cases. The writing has the smoothness of a much more expensive pen. The ink flow is perfectly tuned, neither to wet nor to dry. There is absolutely no scratchiness when writing which is something you worry about with inexpensive fountain pens. This is an excellent casual use fountain pen. I recommend it highly. It uses Pilot cartridges which are unique and are not the same as international standard cartridges, so if you don't already have a supply, but a package with the pen as it comes with one individual cartridge.
