Impressive

Significantly reduces noise
It’s totally awesome. This drum head significantly reduces the noise level. The kit is inside the house and when it’s being played, I can barely hear the mesh snare being hit, if at all. I’m looking to replace toms and kick with all Soundoff heads.

Fantastic
This is what a true "SoundOff" should be like. The action on it isn't 100% that of a real snare head, but its about 98% there and much better than the rubber mute pads you can put on a drum. The only negative thing is that if you want to play the kit you have to switch out the heads, but given the fact that this thing feels great and is incredibly quiet that is a price I'm willing to pay.

EVANS is awesome! Quiet, durable and reactive.
Quiet but also allowed me to get some snare sound, which is exactly what I wanted. The head is durable and has a lot of reaction to it.

Feels great, nice and quiet too
Previously, I was using a drum practise pad that was just sitting on my snare, but it still felt very dead compared to the bounce from a proper skin. So I bought this, in the hopes I'd get the rebound - and yes, it's much better. Volume is obviously a bit higher than the pad, but as long as I keep the snare wires off, it's still not loud enough to bother others in the house. Mesh heads, and Centren low volume cymbals have revolutionised my practise, and my relationship with the neighbours!
