Can the brackets lock at an angle other than 90 degrees? Say like half way from the folded position.

Can I use the in woods?

Not sure what you mean by "in woods" but you can definitely attach these brackets to wood. Just use wood screws. The brackets come with predrilled holes for this or you can drill your own holes through the metal brackets that line up with the placement you need. These brackets are very strong and durable. Highly recommended.

Do the levers to collapse the brackets need to be engaged simultaneously to fold? i'd like to hang a 10' wide table using multiple brackets. tia!

Tia, The levers may be engaged individually. From your question, I am guessing you are trying to figure out if you can engaged one lever and then (literally) move 10 feet to the other lever, engage that as well and fold the table. If so, you can do that. I used a six foot desk (top) piece I bought from Ikea with these and it works like a charm. As long as the weight of the tabletop you plan on using is nothing crazy (to be safe <=100lbs.) you should be just fine.

These worked really well. Used them to setup a foldable shelf. They are very easy to press and fold and are quite strong withstanding a pretty good amount of weight. The shelf is pretty straight at a very close to 90 degree angle. Happy with purchase.

EXCELLENT CHOICE Aesthetically streamlined, sturdy, & easy to fold: Love its engineering

We did our due diligence when looking for folding brackets. Heavy duty is the optimum word, along with extreme strength, easy to use and great aesthetics. We wanted said brackets for over our garbage container in the kitchen, which when folded up would keep our Siamese safe and optimize usable space above said container. When we are cooking, our Siamese has the tenancy to jump up and sit on top of the container, which as a trap door, which does end well... and... she falls in. Either way, we needed to find a solution. Thus, these DIY Brackets, with a Max Load: 150 lb (12 Inch, Black) were an excellent choice for all aspects needed. As my lady just said, "They are super sturdy. The unique design is very easy for up and down usage. One hand for each bracket, with the trigger and they go down. When up, just pull the shelf up, and the bracket snaps and locks. We are extremely happy with these foldable brackets. In fact, we were at our home improvement store and they do not offer the concept. Buy these brackets, you'll be glad you did and happy too boot.
