The Lion King Original Soundtrack

Very nice picture disc. Very cool. Love the music. Happy addition to my growing picture disc collection.

Gift for daughter, arrived safely and nice quality!

Works great. My son loves it. My son is only two and it’s being played in a toy Fischer price record player. With that said , I can’t comment on the sound quality. Other reviewers have made issue with the sound. I’m pretty sure they are just audio nerds. It’s a lion king picture disk. It’s suppose to be fun. Don’t buy a picture disk if audio quality is what you desire.

To the reviewers complaining that these don't come in a cardboard sleeve: picture disk vinyls do not come in a cardboard sleeve anymore. They come in a clear vinyl sleeve so you can display the picture disk without removing it from its protection. Every picture disk I've seen/owned (and I have several) has come in a clear vinyl sleeve. Now, my record is an excellent record. Clear audio all the way through with that warm analogue sound that can't be heard on any source of digital media. My girlfriend and I are collecting these and are looking forward to Disney releasing more of these.

The disc is goergous. Very nice picture. But oh man ... surface noise throughout. And I have to ask Amazon to send a replacement because the first disc skipped on the first song. The replacement has the same issue. The song on the B side also skips. And the sound leaves a lot to be desired. I have to increase the volume pretty high to get a decent sound. So beware, for a collection yes. But for listening ... better get the digital version or the CD.

Loved the picture on the vinyl

The songs arent in order as they would appear in the movie, but they are all there. There are even a few variations of the songs on the back side. The pictures are beautiful and it sounds amazing. Worth the money and a must have for any lion king fan or disney fan.

Same as my “Coco” record review! Fast delivery and in this record with no damage on the sleeve great quality although at side B it was a little bit more dusty and noisy

Tot bé

"Circle of Life" has got to be one of the best TV movie themes of all time. There are two versions here on this CD. I also enjoyed the tracks "Can You Feel the Love Tonight", "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" and "Be Prepared". The film score included with this album is a treat to listen to. It is really relaxing and spooky.

The package comes well packed. Upon closer inspection, there are minor stress marks at all 4 sides, indicating that the record has undergone rigorous movement to impact on the sleeves. While the vinyl appears in great condition to the naked eye, the playback exhibits constant random crackling noise, indicating groove dirt. Otherwise, the recording is good and dynamic. I wouldn't recommend for audiophiles, only for collectors and casual vinylists.

Che la Disney abbia sempre avuto delle splendide colonne sonore per i propri film è universalmente noto (prova ne sia che ci sono brani che, a distanza di decenni, ancora vivono di vita propria), ma penso che questa, insieme a poche altre, sia una di quelle che più ha contribuito a valorizzare il film che accompagna. Non a caso, i compositori sono colonne portanti del panorama musicale internazionale: Hans Zimmer (Rain Man, Il Gladiatore, Interstellar, Dunkirk, ecc.) ha la capacità che pochi hanno di riuscire a descrivere meravigliosamente gli spazi e la natura; Elton John è anche egli universalmente noto per i suoi capolavori brit-rock che da molti decenni sono il marchio della musica rock commerciale. Bellissimo disco, da ascoltare per rivivere le scene del film.
