Bic Cristal Bold, 1.6 mm Ball Pen, Black - Pack of 48 (MSBP241-BKx2)

At the intersection of price and quality is the BIC Cristal 1.6mm. Is it the best pen ever? No. Is it the best cheap pen ever? Yes. I had the pleasure of using one of these years ago but never found them for sale in stores. My buddy had one the other day and after using it a bit, it was just as amazing to write with as the one I found in a highschool classroom all those years ago. I decided to by 48 of them so I'll have an ample supply for the coming financial crisis. They're great workshop pens. Never had an issue marking wood and the 1.6mm ball makes for clear, distinct lines and it doesn't rip paper if you whip it making a Hancock-esque signature. The only reason I could think of why one wouldn't like these pens is if you have a hatred of buttery smooth writing utensils or if you need a fancy pen as a status symbol.

Simple. reliable. Solid construction so it doesn't feel like you're writing with a marshmallow! Our resident scrivner has gone through 6 boxes already - AND THEY LAST A GOOD LONG TIME!

Surprisingly for cheap pens these are my favorites! I love the wider tip, they roll over the page smoothly and the ink flows perfectly!

It very smoth to write . good

We've purchased this before, and now we have again

Classic for a reason

Me parece que no elegí lo la punta correctamente pues estos tienen punta gruesa, y sueltan mucha tinta. Sin embargo para mi están bien los puedo manejar. Mis niñas no y eran para ellas

It was posted to my house a few days before the estimated date and I must say I live literally half way across the world from this vendor. So to have my order arrive before scheduled arrival date was very satisfactory. A family member of mine is a huge fan of this pen. Sadly, this particular pen series (BiC Cristal) was discontinued in my country for many years (god knows why). This family member had been looking for this but to no luck and they were close to giving up. I have recently begun working and my finances are picking up (touch wood) I thought I'd surprise them by buying this as a gift. They were elated to have received it and would not stop talking about it! They package arrived in mint condition and I instead each pen, they were all in good state too. This family member picked a pen from the box and started writing random things! They were that excited, and was very grateful to have this in their possession after many long years LONGING for this. XD <3 This pen had the largest ball which means anything written on this pen the words would have some size to it. It's a little too thin for me when it comes to gripping and the ink runs out a lil' too fast. But that does not mean this pen is superb in smoothness in writing. The pen literally writes itself! It just glides over the paper. Nothing beats a classic!
