Leather Sewing Tools

Well you get what you pay for, AND I didn't expect much more,The first thing I was amazed to see, was the package,or the lack there of, I opened the box and found a bunch of stuff,thrown together in a little cardboard box , THAT IS just sufficient for a while as long as I don't try to open and close it too oftenThe tools at first glance ARE small and flimsy, the handles are very small,a child's hand would have a hard time keeping it under control.I was thinking about making a gun holster ,and I have the leather, which is MUCH heavier than the tools could ever work on, BUT the needles and the thread in the set MIGHT be good enough for the stitchingI'm about to order a set of stitching punches,as the awl is way too flimsyBUT I have a cute little box of junk3 COTTON balls on metal handles of NO use, and at in foil ring ,supposedly a thimble,which I tried to put on,but it bent out of shape trying to get it on my little finger,WAY too smallI GUESS it's a good set to give a 7-8 yr old ,to make a kite or something, but it is far from being a leather working set.Live and learn,you can't buy anything for a good price,and expect it to be of use

Enough pieces for the price

It all worked for what I needed it for... needles seem to break very easily. Also, the snaps are a weird size - so, they're kinda useless too.

if your starting from absolutely nothing this kit is nice, I used it to make my first knife sheath.

It has everything you need to begin a project or to repair anything! Love it!

Great beginners kit! The snaps are nice but dont expect them to hold up under a lot of pressure. The awls are great, threads are nice, overall great set.
