asking about the 1/2" version .is this legit? $5.49 for 1 (one)????? of is that a 10 pack?

I paid close to that for the 1” male socket by 1” Barb pvc . Their kinda specialty fittings I used them on rebuilding my lawn sprinkler manifold. Only place I could find them

The 3/4" barb goes inside a 3/4" I.D. (internal diameter) hose. All hoses are measured by I.D., not O.D. (outside diameter) O.D. will vary depending on the wall thickness of the hose. The I.D. stays constant.

What is the spigot exact OD outside diameter dimension? It should be 1 inch, not 1/2 inch, correct?

The Spigot end is the same O.D. as schedule 40 PVC pipe. Do a web search of "PVC pipe dimensions" and you will see a chart of the pipe/spigot dimensions.
