I used these Mann-Filter CUK29005 cabin air filters in my Mercedes C300, and they fit perfectly. Installation was straightforward and hassle-free. Bought a cheaper one that was an inch too tall oddly so sent back and get this one and greater quality exact fit.

I replaced the activated carbon cabin filter on my Mercedes SL550 today at 16,000 mile, this CUK 29005 was a perfect fit and identical to the original one I removed which was also a Mann CUK 29005. The filter is located under the panel beneath the glove box. Here is how to do it: Pull back the passenger carpet under the dash, fold it back and lay on floor, unscrew the two torx screws ( Torx25) on the front edge of the panel ( I understand other Models may have three screws, mine has two and a friction snap in the center. Pull it down gently, and slide the right side down first, it is fiddly, you will have to gently bend the panel on the right side. If you did not pull the carpet down first, back up and do in now. I had three wires to disconnect on the back of the panel, the light, a temperature sensor and a power socket. See photo for the back side of the panel with wires and connections illustrated in yellow, the left screw location and center snap are circled in red. Once the wires are disconnected remove the panel. With panel removed you can see the filter in the second photo circled in yellow, unclip the silver clip (green arrow) and slide the white retainer piece to right (shown by red arrow). This slide may be a little sticky, mine was. Pull the filter down once the slide is moved (it is okay to remove the white slide if it falls off). Reverse the procedure to install the new filter, other reviews said they had to use the old white retainer the new one did not fit, mine worked fine. It was challenging to slide in position to the left, a tight fit and you have to make sure the filter is up tight to the filter housing. Take your time, and if you can do this with lots of daylight it makes the job easier. I also replaced the two engine air filters with Mann C3397, it was also the same case the OEM filter and a perfect fit, remember to order two of these engine air filters if you have the V8 twin turbo. You only need one cabin filter.

Great price on a cabin filter. This2-/ for my 2013 Mercedes E350 under the glove box install. The closing bracket did not want to work so I used the former filters one.

This Mann CUK29005 cabin air filter was supposed to be an exact fit for our 2015 Mercedes Benz E350. It was not identical in looks, size or features to the Mercedes Benz filter that had previously been installed by the dealer. We had to cut the end fin down a 1/2 inch. This fin does not exist on the dealers filter. Even the number of fins is different, 25 on Mercedes, 22 on Mann. Getting this filter up into the compartment located under the glove box took over an hour. It would not go up into the slot so you could slide the clips into place. The fit was too tight. I tried re-inserting the old filter which wasn’t easy either. The whole design is intended to be done by the dealer. There is probably a special tool to use. After several words we got it into place and saved a lot of money even tho the old one was not very dirty. Chances are we won’t change the cabin air filter again for another 5-7 years. It’s just so difficult to work upside down in a tight space while in a Florida garage mid September!! There is a reason Mercedes charges so much. You need lots of patience for the job. It worked but with too much effort.
