The sorghum syrup has a very good taste, however it was not packaged very well in my order and had leaked in the box.

My grandfather loved this syrup having grown up in Missouri in the 1900's and used it regularly smashed with butter on his toast until he passed away in the 1970's. I always loved the taste but had not seen or been able to find it again until recently after 50+ years! Don't you just love the Internet - OMG, I do love it what we can find to buy and bring back into our lives from our childhoods! Great syrup, wonderful taste with a real "blast from the past" experience. It is as I remember it - not too strong like molasses can be but filled with the aroma and taste I so remember. A little goes a long way but lovely addition to chilies, soups and of course mashed with butter and spread on toast, bagels or especially home made biscuits! Enjoy!

I removed the syrup from the shrink wrap that it was in. Then I removed the lid. The plastic foil seal was bulging? I was on speaker phone with my brother and as I was describing what it looked like, the damn seal blew off the jar. He asked me what the heck was that boom ? Syrup was everywhere in little blobs. Now I’ve always been told that if a seal was bulging, not to eat it. I did taste it and it tasted okay but I’m afraid to eat it! Has this happened to anyone else before? With this brand of syrup? I gave it one star because it showed up on time.

Great alternative to other sweeteners. Lots of minerals and is low fructose. Nice to have another sweetener to cycle w honey.

This is the only place I can find sorghum syrup to make molasses cookies and it tastes incredible in baked goods.

great product just all over everything in box. Was not bagged and leaked all over entire shipment

Given the Amazon business model, packaging is really important for a liquid product, and even more so for a liquid product that's gooey and sticky. Packaging fail. Too much trouble to return, so I just washed up the bottle. In the meantime, I tasted the product, which is fantastic! Not sure I would but it again unless the packaging was improved.

This sorghum is top quality and Kosher with an OU symbol. it would be good for the company to use more padding as one plastic jar had a crack that I never could find but leaked.

Came to open the jar and found that the inner seal was bulging and air was leaking out. This means bacteria or microbes were present when they shouldn't have been. Not wanting to risk botulism, I tossed it. What a waste of time and money

This product just arrived. The protective seal on top of the jar was bulging. Can't risk dying of botulism. I want my money back.

Product was smashed in the packaging, no return option available.
