Very Impressive!
I just received this today, (6-8-24) and I already can tell how much that I like this machine. I am 71 years old, 5'-11", 190 lbs., I used to be in good shape but not doing as much as I used to, I have gotten to where my joints hurt when I squat, up and down. I used to also exercise, but I stopped that, I am REALLY hoping that this will get me to at least get enough cardio (I know, very little) to get up and get on my treadmill. Anyway, as soon as I got it, I started pedaling away, it is as effortless as one could ever hope, too. I pedaled for probably 20 minutes while I was online reading, and when I stopped, I was surprised. I could feel that it was working on my thighs and my calf areas, it wasn't like I did a strenuous workout, b ut I could feel that the blood was being pumped into places that it forgot all about! :) When starting, I did find out that by pedaling like a bicycle, that felt awkward, so I started pushing the 'pedals' forward, rather than trying to push them down as I would on a bike. If that doesn't make sense, just know to try different ways, you'll get a feel for it, I'm sure. So, with that said, with it being right underneath my computer desk, which I actually have the room for, I can't see that I would not use it. I mean, I'd have to REALLY be lazy to come up with an excuse to avoid it, like I am known to do. Using it, I wondered if it was going to slide, but on carpet, it doesn't, I have not used it on tile. If it does, I would suggest to place a small rug underneath. It does have rubber feet on the bottom, so I am pretty sure it won't slide on tile or slicker flooring. The new faux wooden flooring is usually actually kind of 'grippy', so it should work out well on that. It's as quiet as they say, it makes ZERO noise as far as i can tell. Like I said, it's effortless when pedaling, I have it on the easiest because starting out on the HIGH was just not as fun. It's not like I am a doddering old man type, it's just that I have gotten lazy, that's all. So, as time goes on I am sure that I will creep up the tension, or, not, it really probably doesn't matter. I mean, on the least tension is fine, it still gives you a slight bit of cardio, even barely pedaling, it's not much, but it's more than I'd get sitting here not doing anything. I can see this is perfect for older people, I mean, it's as easy as you can get, and, it will get the job done. The main thing that it is slightly heavy for older people, I didn't have any trouble, but if a person has a bad back or knees, or, whatever, they may need someone to help them get it in the PERFECT place and then just leave it there. Anyway, a long story short, I don't foresee any problems with the machine itself, but if something does come up, I will update this.

Easy, low impact, great for legs!
Sunny is a top pick of ours for exercise equipment like their indoor bike and now this, the Under Desk Elliptical Exerciser. Easy out of the box already assembled. It weighs 25 lbs and is somewhat heavy to lift and relocate, but we use it in one area so this isn’t an issue. Excellent little pedal machine and I like that it isn’t electric, your feet and legs do the work. After the initial full revolution at the lowest resistance, it’s pretty much effortless and motivating. I took it to each level of impact, all 8 in sequence, and the feel of motion was not too noticeable. In other words I can do a gradual workout with each selection from level 1-8 in a preferred time set with overall comfort and ease. I would say this is a low impact unit, yet gives a decent workout. You can manage the machine with whatever suits your routine. I choose less impact being conservative with resistance and it still has good results in toning my legs and very moderate cardio. If I want a rigorous ride I’ll jump on the Sunny indoor bike. All in all, we are very happy with this pedal exerciser. Good while watching the news or just hanging out being social in the living room. It might get too distracting for me to use this while working on projects at the Mac. We highly recommend this for anyone looking to keep their leg circulation in good form without taking it to the streets or trail every time the urge to move comes along. And speaking of move, this does not! It stays put on carpet and I’m sure it wouldn’t slip on hardwood or linoleum. Very sturdy and safe. Do not stand up on this machine. The company posts a warning about that, could cause serious injury. One thing we suggest is if you’re looking to buy a machine for older parents or grandparents, an electrical apparatus might be best, and Sunny has those available too. There are other products that connect to power with very little to no impact but keep circulation alive and well. We love this Under Desk pedal addition and it seems to be built exceptionally well, a positive point to note for the long haul.

Good product, good support response time, don't bother with registration.
I like the product, but I don't like the registration process. It is very easy to set up. You just take it out of the box. It is also very easy to use. You just put your feet on pedals and pedal. Pedal operation is very smooth and very quiet. A simple dial is used to change resistance. I'm very satisfied with build quality. It is not the powered version, so it does not connect with the app. Not a big deal for me. When I tried to register it, I used the URL listed on the enclosed documentation. Nothing there. I went to the home page of the site and browsed to the warranty page. At the bottom was a link to "Register Here". It was blank. I submitted a request for help, and within 5 minutes I received an email saying there was no need to register. I replied, why include the link in the enclosed documentation, and why the link on the site, and why is the empty page up? I have not heard back.

Easy to use; Great Quality; Excellent Value; Reliable Use; Better than I Expected!!!
Setting up the Sunny Health & Fitness unit: I am so THRILLED that I did not spend over $300 on the expensive more advertised version of this machine made by a different company. I'd have paid for their advertising and glossy box but would not have gotten the great product that I received today (at least it could not have been better). The large box was delivered in 2 days (thank you Amazon Prime) and there was NOTHING to put together! YES! All I did was get rid of the packaging and put it on a mat on the floor (I have tile floors and everything slips on them, so a kitchen rug under the exerciser worked). Note: there is a clear strip of plastic you need to pull out of the side of the digital meter to allow it to start working. That I didn't notice at first but that was the extent of setup. It was wonderful. Now about my experience in using it: I sat in my low comfy leather couch in front of my tv and put my feet into my new Sunny Health & Fitness unit. I didn't bother to adjust the dial/meter whatever it is, I just started peddling and off I went. It was a little harder than I wanted to peddle so I turned the resistance dial down and off I peddled again. It was great, I watched tv sat on my comfortable couch and exercised. No muss no fuss no problems at all. THE PROS: Price: $100 as opposed to $250 to $350. This unit is a real savings. Setup: There is nothing to set up but don't forget that little plastic strip. Quality: Right up there with the other more expensive products (I have had an opportunity to use my friends more expensive exercise machine and really not a bit better). It is also built very solidly, I'm very impressed. Do put a rug under it, any machine like this needs something to keep it from slipping (yoga mat, kitchen floor rug anything). Warranty: It comes with a company warranty of 1 year frame and 180 days (6 months) parts warranty. Other companies come with 1 year 90 day warranties or less. Of course you can buy an additional warranty if you feel the need for a few dollars when you check out but it's important to know that this company stands up for its product better than other companies. CONS: Uhm ..... none yet. I've only researched this for months and had it for a short while. I will have to return to this review in 3 and 6 months (May 2020, Aug 2020), to update this product review and let you know how this product does. IN SUM: This is an affordable 5 star product that I highly recommend to everyone!

Quality Elliptical Trainer
Finally, after attempting to use a motorized elliptical machine, I believe this is a keeper. You may wonder why would I have gone through 4 of these machines before finding one that suits my needs. The difference is in the pedal. It is larger and most importantly it has a heel cup at the back of the pedal so my feet don't slip off. I cannot figure out why so many of the other manufacturers do not make a pedal with a heel cup at the back of the pedal. It defies common sense- The other elliptical trainers have a cup at the front of the pedal- which is useless!!! So far this trainer seems to be really nice- It was easy to assemble (my husband did that)- it is very quiet and seems stable on my carpet.

Mostly minor flaws, but it's an OK item.
So all in all, it's working. Not great, but working. Convenience is a thing, and having this under my desk during the day keeps my legs moving quite a bit. The size is good, the adjustment knob is easy to use, and the time/distance tracking is great. The foot "pads" are open on top, so one-size can fit all. The carry handle is very appreciated too! BUT... There are some design flaws (in my view). 1. The rubber caps on the ends of the back rail are not adhered, so they slide off easily. Using this on carpet means that if you don't see those caps slip off, you won't be ready when the whole unit shifts position. If you buy this, slide the caps off, slather the inside with glue, and slide them back on 1-2 days before you want to start using this. 2. The wheels are on a flat plate, not a groove or track. So if you don't press STRAIGHT you'll get some unexpected resistance, or noise, or sometimes it will just want to stop briefly. 3. Still on the wheels: They collect every bit of dust and dirt on the Earth. They get grindy and noisy and the smooth motion isn't so smooth. Under desk, this requires cleaning at LEAST daily. 4. Back to the base... The rear of the base (facing the user) has nothing to prevent it from sliding. Either add some "non-slide" shelf liner under it, or (as I'm doing shortly) mount the whole thing on a board with brackets that you can then lay on non-slide liner, brace to a wall or desk leg, etc. So I love using it, so don't get me wrong. But as is... There are annoyances as noted: Keeping it in place when using, and the wheels really do need more guidance to ensure smoother and quieter use. The dust/dirt thing is just an likely more of environmental thing, as I use mine in a workshop area, but if you have pet hair and whatnot, or use near an outer door or just going in/out between uses... just be aware you need to clean the plate/wheel area and wheels frequently.

Since Sept 2023 and still going strong - excellent for after dinner
I bought this elliptical to provide rehabilitation for my broken foot. It offers a dial to adjust the resistance level to make it harder which was perfect for me. I keep it in the family room to exercise while I watch TV after dinner. One night, I was in a hurry and I stubbed my toe on the metal stand and broke my toe. Well, the elliptical got more use again. It is quiet and I am able to pedal while we are watching TV. Initially, there would be a rubbing noise around 45 minutes, but fortunately, it has gone away. I use it on a hard wood floor, and the elliptical does slide forward, so you need to buy a mat or use something to keep it from moving. I used my hand weights to keep it from moving and just bought myself a non-skid mat for elliptical machines. I am looking forward to that, since I have to be careful not to trip over the hand weights I have piled along the front bar of the machine. If you are diabetic, pre-diabetic, realized you have insulin resistance like me, or want to lose a little weight, or tone your legs a bit, this elliptical is very helpful. I wear a Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitor (CGM) and after dinner, I am am able to use the elliptical to bring down my glucose levels while we are watching TV. If you are eating any carbs especially rice, pasta, bread, tortillas, I highly recommend getting this to help you burn off the glucose before you have a problem. I do have the resistance level set to the highest level, but it still is pretty easy to pedal, so I can't say it is a hard work out, but it provides movement enough to decrease glucose levels. If you are older or less used to exercise or doing rehabilitation like me, the adjustable resistance level really is helpful. It is going on two years of use now pretty much every week and since October 2024, most every night. The only thing to keep in mind besides needing a mat or weights to keep it from moving (I use 25 lbs of weight to keep it from sliding) is the machine comes fully assembled which is absolutely great but it it is bit heavy to lift out to box and carry it to where you need it it be. We had thought about giving to my 82 year old mother-in-law but she would not be able to move it to and from in front of her easy chair on the carpet. I am using it every night, so I am glad I didn't give it away. This is a solid, well built, quiet elliptical, and it is very worth the investment.

Wonderful supplement to one's daily exercise regimen
I spend too much time at my desk and even though I do get to the gym most days, I find it's just not enough to keep the weight off. So why not utilize those idle hours to burn a few extra calories? After a bit of research, I settled on this model, the Sunny SF-E3872 under-desk elliptical. It is designed to be operated while seated; there are some other similar looking ellipticals that can be used from a standing position, but this one specifically warns against standing, so bear that in mind. It did take a bit of experimentation to get it positioned correctly. My particular desk is too low for my knees to operate the machine so it has to stick out a bit, and I have to sit back a bit from the desk. I finally put something behind the elliptical, wedged against the wall, and now the device juts out a little from under the desk and is just right. Meanwhile, I put rubber coasters under my office chair's wheels, to try and stop it sliding back, but I do occasionally have to slide it forward again. I even attached a metal handle to the front of the desk, to have something to stabilize myself when exercising more vigorously. One other mod that came in handy: I attached a cheap LED rocker light just under the front of the desk, so I can quickly check the calorie display. When I first got this machine, I used all the defaults: medium difficulty, scan mode. The scan mode shifts every few seconds from speed to time to calories burned. If you long press the button, it resets everything to zero; I usually do that once a day. You can move it off scan mode by tapping the button, then keep it on time or calories which is what I prefer. It's quiet. After 2-3 weeks, though, it started making a creaking sound, so I put a bit of 3-in-One household oil on each wheel, and it went back to being whisper-quiet. Also, I like to vacuum the area every couple of days, because of my obsessive-compulsive nature; don't want a buildup of grit and stuff clogging the mechanism. Other than that...not much to say. I've been using it every day for about a month and it's been great! I recommend it. If anything changes, I'll modify this review but so far, steady as she goes. ONE YEAR UPDATE: Okay, not quite one year, more like 11 months! I'm still using this machine several times a week and it still works great. In fact I'm pedaling it right now as I type and it's whisper-quiet. One improvement was to install casters with brakes on my office chair (it took a while to find good ones but Amazon came through!). Now, the chair stays put (almost too much so in fact so you have to literally lift the chair to move it) and this makes the elliptical easier to use with little distraction. I still oil it approximately every 3-4 weeks to keep it running quietly. It is still using its original battery, amazingly. I can still recommend this machine and if I am ever commuting to work again, I might get a second one for on site. And yes, I would still buy this one again. By the way, they have a couple of youtube videos explaining how to use which are worth viewing.

Great work out
I tried out another name brand under desk mini peddler. The price was too high and you had to pay for delivery. I then checked out other similar machines but some required a plug. The Sunny runs on magnets, no electricity required. I purchased this machine and to my delight, it works great and I like it better than the other machine I tried out. What a great little workout. You can easily adjust the tension for an easy or harder workout. My Fitbit registers this as a walking exercise. I found no difference in the bike versus Elliptical as they both peddle. Also, the machine is not that heavy to move from an area if you want to. I definitely recommend this product.
