Wheat Belly 10-Day Detox

I read Dr. Davis' first book, WHEAT BELLY, but this one was MUCH better, in that he said most of what he said in his original book (but much more concisely), and also because it includes very tasty recipes for the entire ten days of de-tox. We've tried almost every single one and I could live on these foods forever! My husband and I both lost weight eating up to 3,000 calories a day (believe it or not), and we never felt hungry once! We've stopped looking in the refrigerator and cupboards at night - wondering what might satisfy our cravings. We don't have any! I didn't think we could do this, since grains have been such a large part of our diet our entire lives - and I LOVE to bake! But following Dr. Davis' eating plan was actually easy, and doesn't require purchasing all kinds of unusual foods. But you'd better like coconut oil! I just ordered his newest recipe book with meals taking 30-minutes or less to prepare, and I can barely wait to try them all. If you're dealing with any inflammatory disease, or simply want to lose weight easily, this book is a must!!! Plus, with all the good oils (and dumping all the junk foods), your skin, hair, and nails will improve, as well. Basically, I can't say enough for this book!

This book is fantastic. It is an add on to the wheat belly books but it gets you started on your path to becomimg wheat and grain free. It is a must for anyone who has health issues and wants to get rid of them. Day 2 of my detox and I have reduced my insulin by 20 units something I never thought would happen being told by my gp that I would always be a diabetic and it could not be reversed. 80 units to go!

This information has finally put the whole food/fat/addictions into place. I'd like to say I simply cannot believe Big Food - but sadly I can. I'm soooooo glad I have come across Dr Davis - I have already dropped my BSL to 5.3 in only 2 days and am looking forward to reducing or indeed ditching the meds. Woohoo!

I've used this book to help my husband and I to lose over 5 stone between us since April last yearEverything makes sense all the health problems the desire for sugar all goes away it's not an easy move but we were determined to change our life style and we have I've still 7llbs to go but I'm determined to get there having dropped two dress sizes It's not easy but you have to be determined and the results are fantastic
