I have had several ironing boards over the years and many have rusted or broken or just not felt sturdy enough. After reading the reviews of this ironing board, I decided to purchase it about 6 months ago. I am 5 foot 3 and when the ironing board is on the highest height it is just about at my belly button. I like how easy it is to put up and put away and also to adjust it. We don't have a lot of space under the stairs but it fits in nicely. I feel the ironing board is really good quality. It is stable and doesn't rock or move. We are a family of 5 and use the ironing board everyday. My husband tends to put a lot of weight on ironing boards when ironing, and this has caused some to break, but so far this one is fine. I like that it is wide and long enough and the colour of the cover matches the iron I bought on Amazon too. I have not needed to wash it yet and it still looks in a great condition, it is also padded and feels like quality material. The ironing ease is great, it is very smooth. I don't have any safety concerns with it, it hasn't once collapsed like others I have had. The weight of it is not heavy either. I like the rubber bits on it for when we place a hot iron at the side. We also use it on a wooden floor and it doesn't move. I am really pleased with it,

I needed a compact ironing board and overall have been pleased with my purchase of the Mabel board. Would recommend. The facts are: - Height, fully extended is 90cm. Just right for me at 5ft 9ins - Stable, sturdy and a quality finish - Ironing surface is 110 x 36cm - Easy to unfold and fold. Folds flat and locks with thickness 6cm and a folded length 140cm. The legs are narrower than the ironing surface. - The ironing cover is thick and provides a smooth surface. - The extra cover is just to cover the ironing surface during storage. (It is not an extra ironing cover) The only issue I had was that the metal holder with silicone strips did not safely hold my iron. Perhaps I'm not using it correctly.

Good value , seems to be reasonable quality for the price. In use most days with no problems

Spare cover poor quality and just abouts fit

After starting to wear nice shirts, I wanted to make sure that I was ironing them and my local shops didn't seem to supply any good and sturdy Ironing boards. The ironing board I recently purchased has proven to be a reliable and efficient addition to my household. Its sturdy build provides a stable surface for ironing, and the adjustable height feature makes it comfortable to use. The iron rest is convenient, and the board's ample surface area allows for easy maneuvering of clothes. The cover is of good quality and seems durable. Folding and storing the board is a breeze, thanks to its compact design. Overall, it has met my expectations, making the task of ironing much more convenient and enjoyable.

Let’s start with definite statement. This ironing board is good value, but not without its faults! Good bits ….It’s quite ‘happy’ looking, modern cover, and all that. Good height adjustment, wide ironing area, folds away nicely and hangs on the wall away from everything. Bad bits…. Quite heavy and a bit ‘wobbly’, although how level your floor is will obviously affect the ‘wobble factor’. Other than that, it’s good value for money and does the job. Are there better ironing boards out there? Yes probably. Does it do what it says on the tin? Yes….even if it wobbles a bit.

I purchased the Mabel Home Ironing Board, Adjustable Height, Deluxe, 4-Leg + Extra Cover, Blue & White Patterned and I am very happy with my purchase. Its features and benefits earn this ironing board a 5-star rating. The highlights are listed below. * The ironing surface area is well-designed and unlike other ironing boards, the surface area at the point helps save time since it has a good amount of surface area available to iron without having to readjust the shirt or blouse to iron the upper chest/shoulder area of the article of clothing being ironed. * The metal outboard support tray is a great feature and the benefit is that it improves functionality and safety when ironing. Most ironing boards I saw don’t have a support tray for the iron such that you have to put the iron on the ironing surface when adjusting the article of clothing you are ironing. This increases the chance that the iron will fall if the ironing board is accidentally bumped resulting in damage to your iron and floor if the iron falls, as well as a bad burn if you react and grab the iron by the hot surface. Also, I found the outboard tray deep enough to prevent the iron from falling out if accidentally bumped. * The height adjustment provides four convenient ironing levels – 30, 32, 34, and approximately 35-1/4 inches. When closed, the height adjustment/locking mechanism holds the legs in the contracted position such that you won’t have to worry about the legs extending when moving the ironing board and storing it when not in use. Other ironing boards I saw do not have this feature and you have to hold the legs and board when moving it around such that the legs don’t accidentally extend. * The ironing surface padding is also very nice. It has a plush feeling, which I like. Other ironing boards I saw at my local store had an ironing surface that was more firm such that ironing over buttons would have not been a good experience. As such, ordering this ironing board from Amazon was a simple and good decision. Overall, this ironing board is a great investment and I would definitely recommend it to family and friends who are looking for a high-quality and functional ironing board. The extra cover is also a great addition.
