Super soft. Exactly what I was looking for. I sized up because I wanted it to be roomy.

My original review based on FIRST ROBE: I LOVE this robe SO MUCH! It's warmer and cozier than other fuzzy robes I've had, and VERY soft. It washes well (cold water, low dryer), with no shedding, and is still as soft as when it came out of the package. The L/XL size fits me perfectly: I'm 5'7, 155 lbs, 37" waist. It hits about 8" above my ankle., and the sleeves are long enough to cuff if you want. I love the hood, which can fold down to an ample and becoming collar that sets off the face. The Sea Blue color is a beautiful, bright, slightly teal blue, a color that works well with my warm skin tone (maybe with cool skin tones also). I paid $29 for this robe and it is of equal quality to an $80 robe I bought for my daughter. I encourage the company to keep making these and perhaps even offer a broader range of sizes, because EVERYONE should get to enjoy this luxurious bathrobe! UPDATE: I ordered a second robe WITH NO HOOD (unlike the first robe which I loved) at the end of April 2021 and was disappointed to find that while size and color remained the same (as hoped for) the fabric was lighter weight and not as luxurious in look or feel, and not quite as warm. I don't know if this is typical of the non-hooded ones or if the company changed to a cheaper fabric for all of their robes.

I have come to the conclusion that none of the reasonably priced robes on Amazon are worth ordering. This is the fourth one I have sent back. This one sheds really bad. I expect a fleece robe to do some shedding but this one is really bad and the first two I bought and sent back were worse than this one. Then ordered and sent one back because the extra large was tailored to fit a tall thin people. I kept one that isn't shedding too bad but one of the pockets is sewn on two inches higher than the other and it is already falling off because of poor stitching....but I can sew it back on (shouldn't have to repair a $30.00 robe). They were all beautiful robes and beautiful colors but what is wrong with the material that makes it shed so bad. I have a fleece robe that I've had for years and it never did shed like these. As far as reviewing THIS robe..... it is a beautiful, soft, warm and cozy robe. One side of the front pockets is actually sewn into the side seam. I didn't care for that because it put the pockets too far to the sides for my liking....that may not be an issue for some and I would have lived with it if the shedding wasn't so bad. It was nice and long and the extra large was actually an extra large with enough room to lap over and completely close in the front. I knocked one star off for the shedding. After the first wash I picked all the pieces off. Washed it again and it was worse than after the first washing. Knocked the second star off because I wasn't happy with the location of the pockets.

I love this robe. I only wish it came in extra small or small. The small to medium is too big for me. But I love the color so much I'm keeping it. The only thing that would make this robe better is if the belt was made with a different material so that it would stay tied. The fluffy material is so soft that it is slippery. However I gave it 5 star rating anyway because most all of my robes have the same problem. This robe does not have that inside tie. I don't normally use it anyway. But I thought about using it because of the belt slipping loose so quickly. I like to wear my robe a lot even after I'm fully dressed, to keep me warm on cool days. I also use it when I go outside with my dog. I especially love the hood for these reasons. The pockets are large enough to hold my poop bags and bear spray, flash light and garage door opener.

I got this for my kid for camp. They love it. It’s soft and cosy. Bought the small adult size for a12 year old who will probably be able to wear this for many years to come.

Very soft and beautiful color. Haven’t seen how it holds up in the wash, but so far it’s beautiful and warm.

I have had this same robe from this same company since 2021. It was thick, plush and cozy but I accidentally washed it with something not colorfast and ruined it. I ordered a new one last month (same one) and it arrived. Colour is vibrant but it doesn't feel as warm and cozy as the first one. More importantly, it's much smaller in width than the first one. I measured it against the original one and it's 7" narrower than my old one. I'm very thin and it just fits to wrap around my body. It's still nice but different than the ones they sold a few years ago.
