Less is More - Easy to add if not enough.
I am new to dentures. Extractions less than 3 months ago. I did a soft reline a couple weeks ago, but since my gums are changing shape as they continue to heal, the reline got a little loose pretty quickly. That's where Cushion Grip shines! Cushion Grip is not an adhesive like cream or powder pastes/glues. You will have to wait quite a while after applying it before eating again. It is more like a soft reline, though not as durable. For me it is a soft reline extender. Easier to use than soft reline, no mixing, no hurry, and helps me get a good fit until the next soft reline. I asked via chat on their website about putting on top of soft reline, and they thought I needed to remove the soft reline first. I decided to try it anyway, and I am finding that it may not adhere as well to the soft reline but works. Read and follow the instructions carefully. Look for videos on you tube. I put a pyrex glass measuring cup of water in the microwave for a minute to heat the water. Then the tube goes in the hot (not boiling) water cap down for at least 5 minutes. You need to soften the contents at the cap end of the tube. Use the included key tool to wind the sealed end of the tube after squeezing out the first round ball, squeezing from the bottom of the tube, to allow the key to go on the tube. Then the round ball goes into my palm, and rub it back and forth into a thin rope. The rope goes into the trough of lower or upper and mash it flat into the trough and smooth it toward the open ends of the denture trough. The first application I also added to the palate arch of the upper, but found it was not needed in my case for good suction. Let it rest for at least 5 minutes before inserting dentures and bite down. I feel a very slight burning sensation, but it goes away in a short while. I recommend not eating or drinking for as long as possible. 2 hours minimum, but 6 hours is best to get a decent cure, so don't put in new when you are hungry. Some people prefer to do this at night, leave the denture in place overnight and it will be ready to go in the morning. The Cushion grip will have redistributed and that is why "Less is More". If you did not get enough it is easy to rinse and dry and add more (another thin rope) right on top. After curing it can be trimmed, but is easier if you don't have to. Cushion Grip will harden in air over time, but will remain pliable if in water or denture cleaning solution. Like anything with dentures, it takes practice to learn how these materials can work for you; or not.... I find it does act as a cushion and is softer on my gums than even the soft reline. When I put the dentures in first thing in the morning, I can feel the Cushion Grip softening as it warms, just from wearing and after a few minutes, or as many as 10-15 minutes, the softening allows it to fit better as the suction improves. Can also be put in hot water to soften again if needed. I really like the thermoplastic material and I think each tube will provide many applications as I am using very little each time. I have already ordered more and it is just another "tool in the toolbox" for more comfortable wear. I plan to delay permanent dentures for about a year to allow my gums to be more fully ready for the permanent dentures as I would like to need fewer relines once I have them. Cushion Grip will give me comfort until my gums stop or at least slow changing shape. No hurry now for the permanent dentures even though I have already purchased them. I can wait, thanks to soft reline (I use Reline-It, as the price is very good) and Cushion Grip. I think I will get much more than 4 days from most applications. I am able to do without adhesive on the upper using Cushion Grip for a better fit.

LIFESAVER! So worth the money!
This stuff is easy to apply and so worth the money. You put the tube in hot water for 5 mins while that's warming up you clean and dry your dentures then after the 5 minutes take the tube out of the waywr and dry the tube then squeeze out the desired amount then put it on denture wait a few minutes then put in your mouth and your done. It will burn for a little bit at first but it doesn't last long and it doesn't burn that bad. It's so worth the results. Also you will probably want to do at night because you don't need to drink for an hour or so afterwards and don't eat for a few hours. Also it may take a couple of times for you to figure out exactly how much you will need. It's different for everyone. I just cut the excess off after it has set for several hours. I only use it on my bottoms but I'm use it would make just as good a difference on the top. With using this product I no longer use fixodent on my bottoms at all. I just don't need it on the top. This has helped me so much. The only side effect I have had is the burning for less than a minute when I first apply it but other than that no other gum irritation. I bought the twin pack a couple of years ago and am still using the second one. I apply it every 3 to 4 weeks usually. I reapply when it becomes loose. Since I first applied it I haven't went without it.

I was hopeful
I bought this in hopes that it really would make a difference. It seemed really positive with the reviews and videos. But there are no miracles when it comes to finding something that’ll help dentures feel and fit better. Something that’ll make it easier to eat, especially if you go out in public. First, I have a high arch therefore I have no suction with my upper dentures. I have to use adhesives or they fall out, a thin layer is all I need though and it lasts all day. No one has suction with their bottom ones, it’s impossible because we use the bottom jaw muscle so much. Even with adhesive it’ll breakdown throughout the day because of the excess saliva that we produce now. Very important downfalls to remember once you become cursed with false teeth! Okay onward to the review! I followed the instructions and there is a distinct chemical smell and burning sensation once you put the denture in your mouth with the product on it, it’s not a “tingling” it BURNS and it brought tears to my eyes. My mouth is completely healed too, it took about 5 minutes before it slowly faded to tolerable. After 2 hours you can sip liquids but not hot. You can also remove the dentures at this point to trim any excess adhesive that is hanging out/over. Immediately put them back in your mouth for the remaining time, remember it says approximately 4-6 hours to cure. It’s recommended you sleep with them in to allow them to cure. You can always add more product if needed and that’s where it gets tricky. Time and patience is a virtue here! You also have to wait 24 hours before you can add adhesive or clean them. I’m glad I have another pair to wear because like I said previously I need adhesive and I can tell already these are not going to stay in place once I speak. I do not feel a suction or a tighter fit. My bottom denture is still loose even with two layers of product. It actually feels like I’m developing a sore on my right side. I don’t know if the chemicals created a burn or if there is a sore from the product rubbing. It is extremely difficult getting this material off of your dentures, I struggled for about an hour to get the layer off, I tried ice water and boiling water too. Don’t make plans on going anywhere if you need to change this liner out because it takes time and it’s frustrating! The brand ambassadors that praise this product must get paid well and have great fitting dentures to begin with because I just don’t see this product doing what they claim. My top dentures still fell right out and the bottom weren’t any tighter even with two layers of cushion grip. Wearing a regular adhesive works better in my opinion! I’m glad I can return this product and get my money back.

Good buy
I used this product on my lower denture and it actually last up to 2 days with a snug unmovable grip. My only qualms was the bright unnatural color when dry. Make sure the product isn’t visible after application and this is surely a good buy that suits its purpose.

So so helpful for temp dentures
This stuff is amazing. It has saved the day many times and I just started needing it a few weeks ago. It’s really easy to use. You just warm it in some water then place it onto your retainer, denture or partial around where it will meet your gums and roof of the mouth. Wait 5 min then put in your mouth and bite down. When you bite down it spreads out creating a nice comfortable perfect mold of your mouth making wearing your item so much more comfortable and lessens the need for glues and powder adhesives. I really don’t like the feeling of the glues so cushion grip until I can’t make it work!! You just have to remember it takes 24 hours to cure fully so you can’t soak or anything until after that. Also no eating for 2 hours after application. Not only does it help with the fit but it is a soft layer covering the hard acrylic so it’s so much more comfortable and covers up any painful spots until the dentist can have a look at it. The package states it lasts a few days but mine stayed perfectly for much longer than that. Great quality very helpful product. Glad I found it!

50/50
I have mixed feelings about this product. 1. The "key" they provide to help get all of the product out of the tube doesn't work. I have tried several times to use it, but it's too big, then the seem pops open and ends up puncturing the tube. I have had to buy and tube squeezer to keep this from happening. 2. The cure time is 6 hours, and you can't eat or drink anything during that time. I have to do this at night, because I am constantly drinking water throughout my day. 3. I don't find that this holds my denture and partial in. It definitely helps with the fit of my denture but I still have to use an adhesive to keep them in place. My understanding of this product was that it would keep them in place without additional products. All in all, I give it a 3, but I will continue to use it until my dentist is able to get my denture properly sized.

OMG it’s been exactly 1 hour only and already so great!
It’s only been an hour since I put this on my bottom denture! I do not have top ones yet as I plan to do this next year BUT I have had my bottoms pulled and bottom denture in my mouth for almost 2 weeks! The swelling has went down enough to make my denture so loose and painful on me. I can’t wait to get my screws placed for the snap on denture. This has created a sore in front a big one!! I’ve been desperately looking for a solution till I get my snap ons and have tried the paper realign which sucks! I was nervous to put this on as it says not to put on openings or sores etc and I don’t wanna waste it cause I used a quarter of the stuff just on my one time today but I did it and if already feels like heaven compared to what I had!! I put hot tap water in a cup and put the tube in it for 8 min (I was cleaning so almost forgot) Then I pushed out a little. Rolled it, and lined the inner denture with it. While doing this I made sure to place a little extra in the area I know my sore is, plus a dollop extra where I know I can feel the denture does not touch my gum as it should!! Then I put in my mouth and held it down for about 2 minutes, then I bit down for a minute. I could feel where I needed more so hurried and took out and put another small ball in two spots and put back in. It’s been an hour and I feel like I have memory foam on my denture!! Please don’t go up in price as it’s already pricey to have to take off in four days and I need it!! I’ll update when I eat but I def think I’ll put a tad more of it in certain areas after the 2 hours cause I can tell where I need it!! BUY THIS STUFF you won’t regret it!!!! Last update: I ate dinner and it’s totally cured! I am gonna add a tad more to end of denture but I can finally chew food w out major pain and that is all I wanted. Reminder this will still move around a bit as it is not the glue. It’s memory foam for dentures in my opinion!!

Give it a try!!
This stuff will line your dentures, but it does not last 2 weeks like they say. I really do like the product, it makes a world of difference in your dentures especially if there loose in your mouth like mine. If they have become to big, or you have a place where their not sitting right or their hurting. This stuff really is great! You just have to change it about every 5 to 6 days, because it does wear thin. But I guess that's still not bad considering. It does burn a little bit when you first put it in, but it only lasts a couple seconds, but I've never had an irritation. It will stay on even if you eat drink or whatever right afterwards. But it will not hold them in place! I still have to use the powder to make my dentures stay in. Maybe it will be different for some people, but for me it just lines my dentures so they will fit better, but I still have to glue them in! But I do recommend this product. It is overall a good liner for your dentures if that's what your looking for. I haven't really found anything better! You have to heat it up with warm water and make sure your dentures are dry or it won't stick. But work quickly, it cools down fast.

Very handy and easy
If you do it like you supposed to do then it is a life saver. Ik make the tube warm and then i take a bit out en push it in a dry prosthetic. Then i put it in my mouth en bite closed. For a couple of hours no eating and then its fine. You can take it out and brush a little if you have eaten. If you do this with cold water then it wil harden more. Mouth temp is the best. It is not a adhesive but more a filler. Especially for the bottom it works perfectly. Excess you can cut of
