Short review: Great sound quality, easy setup, great price, so worth the purchase! Detailed review: When the package first arrived I was pleased with the way it was packaged. All neatly placed inside an easy to open box. The microphone feels sturdy, the stand and mic holder, is of great quality and with it set up I dont feel like it will move/drop as it holds itself well as you'd hope. It was nice to see simple instructions of how to plug in your microphone on a windows and mac computer, however I realised that there was no instructions on how to put together the stand correctly. I myself am a videographer, and so know a bit about tech, so I had no problem setting up the stand in under 5 minutes. I feel that anyone could really do it. Once all set up, it is as simple as plugging in and away you go. No drivers or things to install needed. I plugged straight into my iMac and it instantly recognised it. The sound quality is impressive, and I work with the likes of rode, zoom and sennheiser microphones on video shoots, which I would class as your professional brands. However this mic, is great. It sounds amazing straight out of the box, no issues with feedback or cutting out. Works perfectly. The price for what you get is incredible, the mic itself in your hand feels sturdy and not cheap. Normally you'd be paying a lot more for a microphone at this level, so it is worth it. Would totally recommend to anyone thinking of getting into streaming, or audio production, its a great mic to start with to get that professional feel. Will be using this product a lot for my own professional means! Final thoughts: No faults with it whatsoever, other than being no instructions on how to put stand together. Other than that. Perfect! Totally recommend!

When I ordered this one first, I was really looking forward to this mic, and the setup was easy, immediately working. BUT first time recording I heard only loud white noise in my replay, my voice really low. So I played around with all settings, but it got only worse. Just press record and you hear in the replay a really bad annoying loud sound that hurts in your ears. As I took the mic in my hand I could feel there was something moving around inside. I guess that is not normal. The package came just with the mic in it, nothing really protective around or anything. So maybe it got broken. I had to return it. Then the seller contacted me offering me to replace it, I agreed and got it few days later. I tried this new one as well but was not really satisfied with the quality because you could hear in the background white noise, which led to the result that my voice was not crystal clear and that was the intention to buy the microphone! So I contacted the seller and told them I'm not happy with the quality and would like to send it back. They offered me another replacement, which is the Tonor TC-2030 and told me, this new one is improved on the features of high audio reproduction and noise reduction and asked me, if I would like to try this one. I agreed and so I got it few days later. And for this new Tonor TC-2030 I just can say one word: WOW!!! You open the package and immediately notice the strong method of construction quality, it is really well built and very stable ... and big (the arm is app. double the size and length of the old one - which is great for me if I need to stand away 2m). Just plugged it in my laptop and seconds later it was working perfectly. I tried it with open back door hearing noises from my lovely neighbours working in their garden, kids were playing and shouting around in another garden and my new mic? Perfect recording and my voice is crystal clear! If you have someone hoovering in the house you could hear a tiny bit background noise, but with Audacity removed immediately. So THIS Tonor TC-2030 one is a mic in perfect working order!!! I'm so happy with this now!!! Thank you very much Leona for all your efforts to make me an absolutely happy customer! I think with this mic you'll have no returns but a lot of very very happy customers!!!

Positives: • Super good sound quality. When this thing is properly setup and working, it can really bring out every detail in the voice. This mic is perfect for gaming. I do a lot of podcast work, and after the mic update it's really improved it. • Adjustable arm makes it easy to put into place, along with the desk clamp • Mic accessories make it easy to use and work out, especially with the screws to tighten and loosen parts easily. Negatives: • Mic will sometimes burst out, mainly into the ears of others in calls, in a blast of static or high-pitched frequency noise. (Might be a motherboard issue though, as it happened with my previous headset, but no where near as much) • USB connector isn't the most stable. It comes out easily and loosens a lot, especially when making adjustments. • Short cable limits the movement. Granted it can move freely a lot of places, but the short cable makes it super limited as to where these places can be. I was hoping to wrap it around the back of my tower, but it can only just reach the front of my case, which leads to the occasional bump or nudge of the cable, causing the mic to either send shockwaves through the mic, or the whole static bomb to others scenario. TL:DR: It's a very good mic, super quality, good movement and good accessories to use, however it is flawed with where it can be placed related to the setup, and if you're not careful you can easily break the cable or USB. But from a super active PC user, this mic is certainly value for money if you plan on it not moving from a comfy position.

For recording my videos I have always used a directional microphone plugged directly into my camera. For years Ive been fairly happy with it however deep down I knew there was better quality available especially after watching other voice over videos and seeing that they use a condenser microphone and not a directional one like me. I then came across this condenser mic for a fairly good price. Although I don’t need the stand that comes included I decided this was still my best option because of the excellent reviews and its always good to have a spare stand encase just encase I ever need one in the future for multiple person recordings. THE PACKAGING: The box arrived the next day from Amazon and was a lot bigger than I thought it would be but it was still well packaged and securely wrapped. Inside the box everything is organised into its own space via the Styrofoam interior which is great as it pretty much guarantees the contents will arrive safely and undamaged. The contents include: 1 x condenser microphone, 1 x adjustable arm/stand, 1 x shock mount, 1 x very long USB cable, 1 x arm clamp, 1 x pop filter and 1 x foam wind cover. THE REVIEW: First off there are two additional things that have made my day with this. The usb cable that comes supplied is nearly 2 metres long which is essential for my use as I have to have the wire going around the back of a shelving unit as well as the desk before I can plug it into my PC. Without this extra cord length I would have had to buy an additional one – so well done Tonor! Also the clamp stand actually fits my desk too! I have a large IKEA desk and my two other microphone clamps don’t fit it as they are too small. But this one can actually opens up to a considerable size (56mm approx) and can easily be fitted to the front or back of my work area which for me is perfect! It is worth pointing out that the clamp is solid metal too whereas my previous ones have always been plastic. The microphone itself is very well built and feels as well as looks very premium. Once again it is made entirely of metal and has a glorious looking, glossy, black finish. It really does look very professional. The metal arm once fully extended can reach a height of approx 70cm and then if attached to my desk it can reach out to approx 60cm. To use the mic it is pretty easy too – you literally just plug it in and after a few seconds it will automatically install the drivers and then be ready to use with your software. Great for time saving and ease of use! I use mine with Adobe Premier Pro CC and Im happy to say that yes it does work very well with this program. The complete set up (with the stand etc) may take a good few minutes to put together but its still fairly simple to do. I recommend just making sure everything is fully tightened before you start using/moving it around. Most importantly however the sound quality that this mic produces is very high quality. It’s seriously clear which is what is required especially for when Im doing my voice overs. With this mic my voice comes through extremely sharp, far better than when im using my directional one which sometimes sounds as though im in a padded box! On the mic there is an up and down button for adjusting the gain which is essential so you can adjust the volume of the mic depending on where you are using it. On its maximum setting Im surprised how much it can pick up! During setting it up I tested it out sitting approx 1ft away from my pc and it could pick up the cooling fan! But in my normal seating position at my desk with the gain around ¾ of the way up then you can only hear my voice in fantastic crystal clear quality. You may have to tweak the gain settings a few times depending are where you are using it but once you have found your perfect adjustment levels you will be very happy with just how good the quality that this microphone can provide. OVERALL: For the price of this complete set Im quite shocked with just how good it actually is. Not only do you get everything so you can turn any room into a recording studio, but it delivers very high quality sound recording too. I had my doubts that once it turned up it would just be a cheap and cheerful package thrown together but let me tell you it most certainly isn’t. Its looks and feels great, is very easy to set up and use and most importantly your voice whether you are speaking or singing comes through in sensationally clarity! What a bargain! Really looking forward to starting my retro gaming reviews with this thing!

This is a great USB condenser mic ideal for beginning streaming/YouTubing/podcasting on a budget. It comes with the boom arm, pop shield and cradle and looks the business once put together. It was very straightforward to get it set up and running, no drivers or software to download or install. The mic itself is reassuringly heavy and seems robustly built, it comes with a USB cable to connect to the computer. The microphone was very quiet out of the box. I had to push the mic's volume up to max and in Windows device settings too to get a decent volume of audio out of it. I use OBS to record and stream and I added a noise gate, compression and expander to remove noise and further boost the microphone, I also used an EQ plugin to add some bass to my voice for that 'radio' sound. One of the only issues I had was the annoyance of having to hold down the volume up button to turn off/mute the microphone, I would have liked a mute switch or button. The microphone being a condenser means it is quite sensitive to external noise and when I was recording with a fan on it was very noticeable in the background (as well as mouse clicks), but this can be remedied with the correct use of a noise gate/noise suppression plugin if you're using OBS. I have now moved onto a more expensive dynamic microphone with XLR/USB, but I still would definitely recommend this microphone to anyone wanting an affordable and easy-to-use entry into livestreaming or YouTubing!

For the price, you can’t argue with the quality of the mic or the accessories. The mic itself has one “quirk” in that the standard volume setting is a little quiet in Audacity (it doesn’t produce much of a wave form but is actually a decent volume on playback). However, if you just press the volume up button once, the wave form is off the scale and you need to then Audacity’s recording volume down to 65/70 to keep the waveform within boundaries without clipping. Recording direct into Audacity, the audio is clear and crisp and is perfect for podcasters or YouTubers (which I am). The boom arm and shock mount are sturdy enough, although I do worry the shock mount may lose its grip on the mic over time as even with the band on all points, it’s not super tight, but it hasn’t slipped out yet. The pop filter is standard far that you’d find on eBay for £10 or so, but again it connects to the boom arm well and does the job. I got this for £50 before Christmas from Amazon warehouse stock but even for £65 you get a lot for your money and a more than capable, quality microphone.

The sound quality is good for chatting and recording speech. It's clear and sounds great for the vast majority of people. The overall kit is good value for money the swing arm and other accessories appear to be of good quality and everything works well. My issue with the microphone is that it does not appear to be a cardioid microphone? I bought this mic to possibly use for some streaming/youtube and for talking to friends when playing games. I wanted a unidirectional mic so that I could hopefully eliminate background noise The problem is it picks up absolutely everything! I have tried moving it around, adjusting the gain and even using aftermarket software. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, I can't stop this mic picking up background noise. I either have the gain so low you cannot hear me or I have it so it picks up even the slightest squeak of my chair. I am perfectly happy to be told I am doing something wrong and that there is a simple way of having this pick up just my voice or only what is in front of the mic, but nothing I have tried has worked.

I'm using this for YouTube videos and conference calls. The sound quality is more than adequate for these purposes. The pop filter is the weak part of the kit, it's difficult to position and spins around when it should stay still. The mic arm is also not a standard connector, so you can't use this arm with other mics. The mic itself is good. But lacks a mute button, or headphone-out. This means if you use this for gaming and want to hear music while you play, you will need to plug+in headphones to your pc. The boost buttons on the mic itself seem to be a little mushy and its difficult to know if the press has registered. Not a bad starter kit, but be aware with the incompatible arm that it's not a stepping stone to better kit, you would need to replace the lot. But not too bad for a first time youtuber or if you just hate wearing headsets on conference calls.

C'est pour cela que je ne lui mets que 4 étoiles sur la qualité du son. La captation est cardioïde donc il faut bien être dans l'axe des boutons du gain qui sont rétroéclairé en blanc. Les plus : – Facile à installer – Très classe, la finition métal – La pince pour le microphone est très efficace – Le bras est de qualité, les ressorts sont trop – Plusieurs tutoriels sur internet – Le filtre antipop est très qualitatif (il faut bien penser à le revisser avant de le placer) Les moins : – La bonnette a disparu dans ce kit – Le pied est un poil trop rigide dans ces axes

Jag tycker att stativet till mikrofonen är dålig och ostabilt, den lilla ”spaken” som håller upp mikrofonen från och falla ner är svag och varje minut som man skruvar åt den hur hårt som man än skruvar åt den. Trådarna som håller upp mikrofonen är värst eftersom den alltid faller ned och trådarna är alldeles för chocka för de som håller upp den. Jag tror att det kan delvis bero på att den som jag köpte inte fungerade som den skulle och jag skulle gärna vilja ha en reklamation eftersom den inte funkar som den ska.

Ma ciò che mi ha veramente colpito è stata l'assistenza offerta dal team di supporto di TONOR. Dopo una settimana dall'acquisto, ho purtroppo danneggiato il cavo USB del microfono. Ho contattato immediatamente Amazon, che mi ha messo in contatto con il venditore. La gentilezza e la rapidità con cui il venditore ha risposto alle mie preoccupazioni sono state impressionanti. Il venditore mi ha spiegato che il cavo USB non era disponibile per l'acquisto separato poiché non era disponibile nei loro magazzini. Tuttavia, per risolvere il mio problema, mi hanno offerto un'opzione ancora migliore: restituire l'intero kit del microfono. Ich nutze das TONOR Q9 USB Mikrofon inzwischen seit 2020 und kann ganz klar sagen: Für den Preis ist das Teil ein absoluter Hammer. Was mich von Anfang an überzeugt hat, ist die Soundqualität. Egal ob für Discord, Zoom-Calls, Streaming oder Aufnahmen – die Stimme kommt klar, sauber und angenehm rüber. Ohne großartige Nachbearbeitung oder Einstellungen. Und genau da liegt für mich der größte Vorteil: Plug & Play. Kein Software-Chaos, kein stundenlanges Feintuning – einfach anschließen und es funktioniert. Gerade im Vergleich zu deutlich teureren Mikrofonen, wie z. B. aus der Elgato Wave Serie,von HyperX oder Razer, hat mich das wirklich überrascht. In der Praxis liefert das TONOR oft das bessere und vor allem unkompliziertere Ergebnis. Ich habe sogar einen Musikproduzenten im Freundeskreis, der mir die Audioqualität bestätigt hat – und das sagt schon einiges aus, wenn man den Preis berücksichtigt. Auch das komplette Set mit Arm, Halterung und Zubehör ist grundsätzlich ein Pluspunkt, weil man direkt starten kann. Der mitgelieferte Arm ist allerdings eher mittelmäßig und nicht besonders hochwertig. Ich habe ihn relativ schnell gegen einen stabileren Arm (bei mir von Thronmax) ersetzt – das lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Wichtig: Das hat nichts mit der Mikrofonqualität selbst zu tun, die ist weiterhin top. Mein Fazit: Wer ein zuverlässiges, gut klingendes Mikrofon sucht und keine Lust auf komplizierte Software oder unnötigen Schnickschnack hat, ist hier genau richtig. Für mich seit Jahren im Einsatz und ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen. Absoluter Preis-Leistungs-Sieger und ein echtes Must-have!
