Ordered these to help clean small spaces; particularly my earbuds. And they do exactly what I wanted them to do. Good quality, they don't fall apart when using them or get pieces stuck in the small spaces, crevices, etc. I recommend them for your cleaning.

I use these to clean the tube sockets of an older vacuum tube amplifier for home audio. They are small enough to fit nine pin sockets such as 6DJ8, 6922, 7308 or E88CC / E188CC European equivalent sizes. They also work for eight pin tubes such as 6L6 or 5881. You don't want to use anything abrasive in a tube socket b/c it will remove the socket plating and make your problem worse. I put a bit of DeOxit D100L (red) on the swab, insert it into the tube socket and gently rotate it, let it sit for several hours or overnight, then I use another swab with 99% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to flush out the DeOxit and let the IPA dry. I've also followed that with a swab with DeOxit Gold G100L to apply a thin protective and conductive coating. Like these so much I just reordered another pack of 100.

Not bad for fine dusting or cleaning. The foam over the tip is thin though. So the foam layer separates from the tip easily.

Used these to clean small cavities in parts and were just what I needed. They wear out fast but get the job done

I first used these for cleaning the band tuning switch tower in a 1947 Zenith Transoceanic radio. That tower is intricate. Q-tips don't fit the crevices well and leave fibers behind...these swabs are foam and hold together, don't seem to leave particles behind and have just enough absorption to hold deoxit or isopropyl. Deoxit is expensive, so using these helps greatly to conserve during application. These have a number of uses, particularly in RF connectors (SMA, N, PL259, etc). I do not know if they are clean room compliant, but for my use and price point they are perfect!

I use these for work mainly to clean RF connectors and USB ports on cellphones. They hold up very well. They don't leave fibers behind. I toss them because they're dirty, not because they broke or disintegrated. I still have some left after a year or two. When I run out, I'll definitely be buying more.

I got these to get into the little nooks when cleaning interiors of cars and trucks. They work great and are pretty sturdy. The pack has enough to last me a while.

We like these for cleaning sand, dirt, and organic crud from housing o-ring seats and lens mount surfaces on our underwater photography systems. They hold together well, are pointed enough to get all the way into the areas of concern, are inexpensive, and pack well.
