​I am a long-time user of the original heavy Weleda Skin Food, but sometimes it's just too rich for daytime use or warmer weather. When the "Light" version came out, I was skeptical—could it possibly deliver the same level of intense hydration without the thick, dense feeling? The answer is a resounding yes! ​Texture & Feel: This cream is a dream. It has a beautiful, whipped texture that is noticeably lighter than the original. It absorbs quickly, leaving absolutely no greasy residue, which makes it perfect for use under makeup. It provides immediate relief to dry patches without making my skin feel suffocated. ​Hydration & Results: It contains the same beloved blend of natural ingredients (including sunflower oil, lanolin, and extracts of pansy, rosemary, and calendula), and my skin looks and feels deeply nourished after applying it. It combats dryness, reduces flaky patches, and leaves a healthy, radiant glow. It’s light enough for morning use but powerful enough to heal my skin overnight. ​Recommendation: If you love the intense results of the classic Skin Food but need something that sinks in faster, works well in humid climates, or serves as a lighter, daily facial moisturizer, the Skin Food Light is the perfect substitute. This stuff is great - smells magical (I love the smell of natural essential oils) and it is relaxing to put on in the evening. It is quite greasy but I like this for night time use - I wake up feeling moisturised and my skin is soft.

Great ‘lighter’ skin food for everyday use

A lovely cream, a little goes a long way. Can appear greasy but absorbs well. Feels nice on the skin, no reactions to it. Smells nice too.

Love this. Use it on my knees , elbows,neck and face. Even use a small amount to tame frizzy hair and as a highlighter on top of makeup. Good all rounder for me.

Absolutely love this - will definitely keep repurchasing. Apart from being highly moisturising, it's smells gorgeous - like some sort of aromatherapy smell. It works great as a smooth base under makeup (particularly if you are like me and in your late 40s, with dry skin and fine lines). I bought after seeing it rated highly in the Yuka app (which identifies bad ingredients in cosmetics - I usually use Cereve and that rated surprisingly low). I also saw a mature makeup artist use this on Instagram.

Huge fan of this product. I first came across it while being made up for a photo shoot, feeling deeply uncomfortable under the amount of makeup needed to stop me looking like a ghost in the photos. Despite that, I’ve used it ever since. It works beautifully whether I’m wearing makeup or going completely bare‑faced. I normally use the light version, but the darker green tube is just as good – I just use a little less. It keeps my skin soft and moisturised throughout the day. One small tip: if I’m wearing any eye makeup (liner or mascara), a touch of loose powder under the eyes is essential to stop it smudging on the moisturiser. With daily use, one tube lasts me around ten weeks, so I now have it on subscription. A reliable, gentle staple that’s earned its place in my routine.

Feels so lovely on the skin, normally alot of moisturisors cause blemish breakouts but this one is great! The smell is very soothing and fresh! Recommend as a smooth base under makeup

Je mets cette crème le matin, ma peau n’a jamais était aussi glowy! J’ai tendance à avoir la peau irritée et des plaques de sécheresses par endroits et vraiment cette crème combinée à la plus épaisse le soir, c’est mon combo gagnant! La texture est fluide et légère, parfaite tenue du maquillage par au dessus!

Davvero una crema niente male. Leggera ma corposa, idratante e delicata. La sua formula è ottima, si può dare su tutto il copro ed è perfetta, anzi è proprio la crema jolly, da portarsi ovunque, anche perchè il flacone è relativamente piccolo e facilmente trasportabile anche in viaggio. Lascia la pelle idratata ed è perfetta sotto al trucco perchè non unge. Niente da dire, davvero ottima, Ve la consiglio. Spero vi sia stata utile🤗

For me the best cream for sensitive skin. Moisturising but not greasy

Es buenísima, pero solo la recomiendo para pieles de normal a seca, una piel mixta o grasa no creo que la tolere del todo bien, la recomiendo sobre todo en invierno, es un poco pesada pero las pieles secas lo agradecemos durante esta temporada.
