I've tried numerous brands of LED tap lights for various reasons, determined to find the best, and this is one of them. A+!!!
I have a HUGE network of shelving and closets throughout my house, as well as tons of display shelves. When I first bought these, I intended them for seemingly the universal usage that is a pre-requisite, and that is to light up my closets. LOL But the very first day I got these and felt for myself how light weight and bright they are, I decided to start buying them for the nicest of my collector shelves. I display quite a few statues and collectibles, but sometimes, depending on the when and the where they are, the shelves just don't get enough light. Enter these bad boys, and that problem is SOLVED. I stick one of these to the underside of the shelf I want to illuminate, and it's bright enough to light up the entire inner box of the shelf, and everything on it too. There are other brands, and they all work honestly. Some are larger, some more expensive, some a tad brighter. I like these because they are the perfect balance between cost and functionality. I get three for less than ten dollars, and you will be AMAZED at how long they last. I have recently purchased more, as more of my shelves needed lighting. I am pleased to report that my old lights are still every bit as bright as the new ones, and that is after YEARS. I have NEVER had one lose power from the bulb going bad, though sometimes I have to replace the triple A batteries. They are more than bright enough to read by, or to navigate a completely dark house for that matter. I buy the tiny key chains of these as well for friends and family, and they work like a charm. ( Super Bright LED Keychain Flashlight ) Flat out bottom line, these things do JUST what they say they will, and that's all I ever expect from my products. Give them a try, and I know you won't be disappointed. Thanks so much for your time folks. Sincerely, R.A. McDowell

Small, bright, convenient light
These are just about the handiest little lights you could ask for. I stuck some around the house a couple of months ago, and when we had a recent power outage they came through with enough light to get by. You don't have to fumble around looking for the switch, just find the light and push. Since they stick to any surface you want, you know exactly where they are when the lights go out. They work well as a nightlight too if you don't want to fumble around in the dark getting to a wall switch. Just stick one of these in a handy spot. The only problem I had was with the first one I had to take apart to put in the batteries. I wasn't quite sure how they come apart (they unscrew) and I managed to break one of the three tabs that hold it together. Fortunately the other two tabs held it okay. They are compact but put out plenty of light to get around.

Good lights just cheaply made as to be expected with the price.
These lights are bright enough for most places, but are very cheaply made, hence the price point. You can't beat the price but don't expect much quality. After sticking one up onto the ceiling all it took was one press on for the plastic lens to crack in the center of the light. You would think they would have better plastic. The adhesive doesn't stick for very long. After having it stuck onto the ceiling for 2 weeks it fell to the cement floor and cracked the side. This time I used crazy glue to mount it and it is sticking just fine now. If you are looking for something to light up the area and is cost efficient than these are the way to go. For quality your best to spend a bit more, but these do the trick.

Cheap, Works Well, Convenient, Would Buy Again -- but you need to know the issues.
I used these in a custom closet build-out that I crafted because they were cheap and I figured if I could get away with using something cheap that didn't require me to run new electrical all over the place, I should -- since I don't use the lights in this situation much anyway. PROS: - Cheap - Works well - Good light if you don't use it a lot - Easy to install CONS: - Cheaply made - Light dims quickly - Falls off of surfaces that aren't perfectly smooth - Sucks battery juice quickly Bottom line is, I would buy these again. They work well, and as advertised only require a gentle tap to turn them on and off. I also like them because I can use them situationally -- for example, if I only want them on in the top center tie box and the two sides, plus only the top rack in the shoe rack, I can do that, instead of turning the whole system on. If I only want to leave the tie box light on for atmospheric light at night, I can do that instead of getting blazing light coming out the closet. If I want to see the whole bloody thing lit up, it's gorgeous, but I don't leave it like that for very long. The lights are bright -- at the beginning, for the first maybe 20 hours of use. The next 40, they're considerably dimmer. After that, they're specks of light. I'm still trying to burn out a puck, and it hasn't died yet (well over 100 hours at this point) but I can barely see it anymore. They also mount easily, with a circle of double-stick foam tape in the back -- problem is, it's not a high strength tape and if you're mounting it to a surface that isn't completely smooth, the whole puck will fall off once in a while. I solved that problem by using strips of a high-strength mounting tape. If they fall off and hit the ground though, the housing will crack -- and can be superglued back together easily. One trick I learned is to rotate the lights. They have a bottom mounting surface, and then the actual puck light mounts onto that by inserting and twisting. As the lights you use most dim out, just twist them out and replace them with the ones that you barely use, and you'll maintain brightness where you want it for longer. I also maintain a few battery chargers, so once in a while when the lights start getting dim, I throw them in the charger and replace them with fresh ones. Constantly buying new AAA's would be prohibitive. You can also color the lights, like an oldschool color filter, to get a warmer light. I tried it with a thick orange sharpie to get a warmer color temperature, but eventually I just scrubbed it off because I liked the look of the cooler color temperature better (in the picture). You also need very even coverage with no darkened lines or it'll show up in the beam. These lights are cheap, but they work for what I need them to do, are easily replaceable, and I will buy these again.

Good light for small space
This is a replacement for same lights. Had to replace because I left batteries in them and they corroded. Nice light for cupboards. These were used in a travel trailer. Easy to install and fit nicely. Remember to remove the batteries so you don’t have the problem I did.

Simple, safe inexpensive and somewhat elegant solution to cordless oversink lighting.
My dish washing chore is simple: soap, two hands, sponge. I've tried bar-style lights for under the cabinet over the sink lighting only to pull them out of the dishwater. (I have GFR's Ground Fault Regulators which defeat electrocution if electricity meets water) or I wouldn't be writing this. This has proved a good solution as overhead lights which are general room lighting and don't really focus light on the task at hand--washing the dishes. The adhesive provided isn't up to holding lights above hot, soapy sink water for long. [[ASIN:B000KKPHZ8 3M Scotch 1-Inch Indoor Mounting Squares, 48-Squares] take care of that. The test light has been up for over a month with no special attention. Total cost around $20 depending on how many lights you need and how long the light is left on: Be mindful to turn the lights off after the task is finished as the battery cost can add up, or invest in rechargeable batteries (AAA--each light takes three.)

Good, handy, strong, little lights, but you may be going through a lot of batteries.
I've had these for 6 months, now, and I couldn't decide between 3 or 4 stars for two reasons: 1) Each takes 3 AAA batteries, and it feels like they don't last long. Our fault, but we keep accidentally leaving one of these on in the outside pantry for 24 hours, and that just about does them in. I changed the batteries and it's fine again, but batteries are expensive and now we've used a lot. Somehow, I feel these should last longer than 20 - 30 hours. 2) The sticky back is big enough and strong to hold the light, but it doesn't stick well at all on untreated wood, which oddly enough seemed to be everywhere I wanted to stick them. It must be stuck onto a clean slick surface. However, these are great little lights to have around dark corners of the home, and maybe for emergencies. I originally bought these to put one into our dark pantry and as for some extra light when needed it in the closet. They're very bright and useful. I decided to buy some more, load them up with batteries and keep near the candles we use for power outages. Hopefully the power is not out for more than a day or two. I recommend these, just don't forget to turn them off.

LED battery Operated Light
You always get what you pay for. If you want these for accent lighting, on occasional use, then they might be ok. If you want them for a closet light, forget about it altogether. You would need half a dozen depending on the size of the closet. A small closet would take at least three, and then at best you would only be able to make out what was in there, but not distinguish colors. One of the three in my pack was scratched on the surface. The amount of light one emits for the amount of triple A batteries required is simply not justified. Not in cost. These will tear your pocket book apart with regular usage. I use only Duracell or rather Duracell Procell. And it went through three of them like warm butter. Batteries with a guaranteed shelf life of ten years.. They do work, and they work easy. Just screw off the back, place the three triple A batteries in, screw back on the cover, press the center of the light, and it comes on, press it again and off it goes. If you forget to turn that light off, by morning, it will be dead as a door nail. I wasted a set of batteries just to see. And much quicker than that if you use cheaper batteries. The light is a white light which is typical of LED lights too, not a warm light, it's just not bright enough for any real purpose other than accent lighting under shelves and that sort of thing. The problem with that, in my opinion, is you usually want a warm light for accent lighting. I wanted them for a large Humidor I own. It's useless for that. So maybe a backup light in your vehicle, in an emergency kit, that sort of thing. Which is what I suppose I'll use mine for. So, that's my two cents.

Small yet good illumination!
Good little lights I like them. They are very bright, illuminate a wide area & they look nice. I just hope the battery life will be as long as they say (100hrs) because they do take 3AAA each.

Product does not appear sturdy at first glance
Product does not appear sturdy at first glance. Have just started using it, so onlytime will tell. Also there were no markings to tell the orientation of batteries in the slots.
