I have all Kobalt lawn equipment. These batteries are great and you need a few to keep going, as one drains, charge another and by the time that one drains the other is ready. They do discharge after a while and need to be replaced. This one came shrink wrapped and shiny, and charged up in no time at all. Ready for Spring! Thank you!

It is a Kobalt 2.5 AMP HOUR Battery in the box. I thought for the price it might have been re-conditioned but no, it is a Brand NEW Battery and has charged as it should and I used it for about 10 minutes today and seems to work as it should. Thanks for a good deal on the battery that was much cheaper than at Lowe's for sure, so good value for your money.

Perfect!!! The original one finally died after 6 years. Replaced with this one and haven’t missed a beat. Weed eat solid for 45 minutes and plenty of charge.

Came not charged, wonder if it will hold a charge? Charging now. Seems to be okay

I have tried generic brand batteries but they do not last as long as the name brand Kobalt. You can roughly 160 for a Kobalt or about 100 for a generic. I have had a generic for roughly one year and it is already beginning to have less time to use off the charger.

Summary: I do not recommend this product. It was fine at first, but now it refuses to charge. Full description: I purchased this battery a little over a month ago. It came with about half charge already in it, so I charged it up with the charger I already had for my other batteries. I used this battery for my trimmer and blower. I was able to use it twice (because I do my yard every other weekend) and by time the second use was finished, and I needed to recharge it, it decides to stop accepting charge. Description of problem: So what happens is the battery will run out of juice like normal, and you’ll push the battery indicator and the little green light will flash at one bar telling you it’s dead. So, like always, you place it on the charger. The charger (which charges my 2 other batteries that I bought from my local Lowe’s store) flashes green like it always done while the battery is charging. You think everything is going well... until about 15 minutes or so go buy and you hear this very faint little buzzing/beeping noise. At first I didn’t know where it came from, so I searched around. That’s when I realized it was my battery. The charger light had switched from flashing green to flashing red. I took the battery off the charger and pressed the indicator button. It was still dead. I decided to try it again and let it charge for up to 3 hours, taking it off and checking the level periodically. Still... no luck... So borrowed my brother-in-laws charger for his batteries, and the same thing happened. Our chargers work great on our other batteries, but not this one, unfortunately. I came on here to see if I could return or exchange this as it might just be a fluke with this specific battery, but I had missed my return date by about 2 weeks. 🤦🏻‍♂️ From now on, I’ll just be buying my batteries in person at Lowe’s. Those have yet to disappoint me. Also, anyone want a faulty battery? I know a guy. 😂

Perfect fit! Bought this so I wouldn't have to wait while the battery recharges, so I can get my mowing done more quickly. Looks a wee bit different, but exactly the same where it counts.

Excellent price for an original Kobalt battery replacement. Seems to allow me to mow longer without a battery swap
