Easy to install
Use this for a new washing machine to protect circuit boards. Hope it works.

Works great / but could use a simple update to product
The only PITA is…when you’re attaching wires to the screws and inserting another wire or wires into back of the outlet (on same side) it would be nice if it were easier to do this.

why do i need this
seems the mfr's got even cheaper and have designed appliances like your refridgerator, to die every 6-10 years. they do it, but removing any surge protection from the device.so, by installing this, i will no longer have to pay 500 every time there is a power surge

These told me my polarity was off and I didn't even know it.
I used these in an outdoor box to power some gate chargers and cameras/lights. They told me the polarity was reversed which I oddly didn't know but it's a long story so it's a nice feature to have. They fit a standard box and seem pretty well made with easy to use terminals.
