These are good quality and work great. I give wrenches hard use every day and this set is standing up well and provides good service. These have the offset ring and reversing ratchet lever which makes then easy to fit and use. I would recommend them and would buy them again.

Terrific Quality Wrench set. The open ends on the smaller wrenches are rather large in comparison to say Snap on or USA made craftsman wrenches so don't be so quick to get rid of your regular wrenches just yet. One thing customers would like to be aware of is how durable the ratcheting mechanism is. I work on Detroit Diesel Engines with grade 8 hardware and bolts torqued down to the point of almost needing an 18" breaker bar to loosen them comfortably. The ratcheting end continues to deliver breaking bolts loose with no problems on those pesky bolts with me putting all my might into them. Excellent Quality. As far far as ratcheting wrenches go, I don't know where you could get a more complete set of this quality for the price. I just wish it included a 1/4" wrench but that's a minor detail. You can always order one off amazon if you really need it. No biggie.

I have always trusted Gearwrench and these did not disappoint. They are super smooth, the reversible switch is solid and the fit and finish are as good as any wrenches out there.

I was pleased with the quality of the construction of these gearwrenches. But, look at the picture and note the diameter of the black part on each box end: that's about the same diameter as a regular box end, and the housing on the GearWrench is just fat enough to often limit where you can use it. I've been noticing since I bought them just how often fasteners are placed next to inside corners, pipes, etc, and can declare that if you're going to carry ratcheting wrenches, you'll need to carry regular box-end wrenches as well. I work on small engines, snowmobiles, atvs and cars; not professionally anymore but often enough. So, this is something that I could have gotten along without, but I do like the extra shininess in my toolbox. I'm glad I did get the reversible ones that have an offset instead of the others--knuckles have to go somewhere. I don't plan on getting the metric set now, though.

I'll admit it, I'm a big fan of Gearwrench products and have 5 different sets in my personal toolbox. (My son has four.) My son in law started a new job that required him to provide his own tools and I decided to get him off on the right foot. After some searching, I found this set that fit the bill for size range, style and price. The look on Tim's face when we presented them to him was priceless! And after several months of using them, the world has another Gearwrench fan! The only reason I didn't give these wrenches 5 stars in all categories is that I have managed to break one or two of my Gearwrenches over the years. That said, they were replaced under warranty. Great company to deal with!

Good quality well finished reversible ratcheting wrench set. I am replacing my non reversible gear wrench set with these and handing my old ones off to my son.
