Holy smokes this works. I got a little over zealous and had a tiny bit more than needed. I did get a stomach but that’s my own fault. Still in past times in life I remember it hits a little hard and sudden. Very strong. The taste is fine. I recommended it over those chews by MiraLAX. Those taste awful. Definitely a good price and is effective. I’ve been eating a lot of figs now to stay regular and dried fruit. Anyway it’s easy and quick. Don’t over due it. Not such a gentle experience then lol

Ex-Lax always does as it expects you to do. My mom was having a very tough time at 95 and having her take XO every other day has made her life a lot better. At her age not drinking drinking enough is a real problem so being proactive and taking Ex-Lax every other day for some people need it every day is worth it. It’s a great product and it’s. Effective and gentle. It’s really easy to use and she said the taste was not bad.

Now this is like reviewing the last horror movie seen. Makes one think about why one went, ... how it turned out, ... and if one would want to see it again. What was that commercial, "Everyone goes, why not enjoy the go"? There is nothing enjoyable about having to need this item, or the results after using it. I guess it does what it's supposed to do. I took physics back in high school, and college, ... but now I eat right, and pay better attention to my diet. Eat fruit and veggies, ... reduce the items one gut refutes against. Try some peppermint tea, a good book on politics, and a comfortable night in bed with no disturbances, If one gets halfway through the book, there shouldn't be a problem come dawn. An old folk remedy is 1 teaspoon (not heaping) of bicarb (baking soda) in a 8-10 ounce glass of lemonade (fresh, no mixture from a store shelf), drink it down while cold (about 10 minutes), everything will be better come the morning! It works, ... it really does. Of course, can always use this to make "brownies" for a bad neighbor.

Look, nobody wants to write this review, but somebody has to — and honestly, if it helps even one person who's been desperately scrolling through Amazon at midnight, then it's worth it. I picked up the Ex-Lax Maximum Strength pills during a rough stretch of occasional constipation, and they do work. That part I can't deny. Within a reasonable amount of time, things got moving, and for someone who had been uncomfortable for days, that was a real relief. The maximum strength formula lives up to its name in that regard. That said, "maximum strength" comes with a price, and for me personally, that price was stomach cramping. Not mild discomfort — I'm talking genuine "why did I do this to myself" cramping that made the wait feel pretty miserable. It felt like the solution was almost as unpleasant as the original problem. If you have a sensitive stomach, that's definitely something to factor in before reaching for the max-strength version. On the positive side, the pills are easy to swallow, discreet to carry around, and widely available. There's no weird taste, no measuring anything out, and the packaging is straightforward. For a one-off situation where you just need results fast, it checks the box. The value is fair for the quantity you get, and it's a recognizable, well-known brand, which does count for something when you're buying something in this category. Where I landed personally, though, is that after trying a few other options, I've found products that are a bit gentler on my system while still being effective. Ex-Lax Maximum Strength feels like it swings a little too hard for everyday occasional use, at least for my stomach.
