ex-lax Maximum Strength Stimulant Laxative Constipation Relief, 24 Count

Okay. Here we go! This isn’t my favorite product to review but I’m going to anyway. I take 2 different medications that plug me up good. I don’t just mean that it’s difficult to poop. I mean it’s impossible. And then your stomach cramps. You feel bloated. You’re miserable. This is how I get on the regular. I’ve tried everything to help. All the things. All the laxatives and stool softeners. They don’t help me. I end up using an enema kit. And we all know that’s no fun. This time I tried a laxative I hadn’t tried before. I tried ex lax. I took 2 tablets. Nothing. I gave it more time. Nothing. So about 10 hours after my first dose I took 2 more tablets. And about 10 or 11 hours later? Success!!! And it felt like I’d just won the lottery! The first product ever that has truly worked FOR ME. I can’t guarantee it’ll work for you like it worked for me. But the point is it DID work. So……I’m sticking with this product for the time being. I’m thrilled to death that I’ve finally found something that actually helps this delicate but very real problem I know so many people struggle with.

Sometimes you just need something to help. Stress, not eating correctly, lack of hydration, all can contribute. Sometimes you just need help, this helps!

Now this is like reviewing the last horror movie seen. Makes one think about why one went, ... how it turned out, ... and if one would want to see it again. What was that commercial, "Everyone goes, why not enjoy the go"? There is nothing enjoyable about having to need this item, or the results after using it. I guess it does what it's supposed to do. I took physics back in high school, and college, ... but now I eat right, and pay better attention to my diet. Eat fruit and veggies, ... reduce the items one gut refutes against. Try some peppermint tea, a good book on politics, and a comfortable night in bed with no disturbances, If one gets halfway through the book, there shouldn't be a problem come dawn. An old folk remedy is 1 teaspoon (not heaping) of bicarb (baking soda) in a 8-10 ounce glass of lemonade (fresh, no mixture from a store shelf), drink it down while cold (about 10 minutes), everything will be better come the morning! It works, ... it really does. Of course, can always use this to make "brownies" for a bad neighbor.

They work. Max strength. Honesty they taste pretty good which is rare for laxatives but whatever. I will warn you that they WILL cause cramping and mild nausea but if you take a ove the counter pain killer you'll be fine and the relief after is so worth it. TMI but no joke, I used it and I'm 99% sure Mount Everest was in the toilet after. You will feel so much better. 15-30min of slightly pain for the sweet relief. Highly recommend.

I bought this for postpartum as I was having constipation issues even 2 weeks after having my baby. I could go a week without pooping and I wasn’t in pain, but it was concerning to me and I was sore enough down there so I didn’t want to add more hemorrhoids to the mix by straining to poop, so I knew I needed a laxative of some sort to coax things along more gently. Well all I can say is be careful with these! I thought since I was going a week between poops, that I should take 2 pills. I encourage you to start with 1! The first time I took 2, it wasn’t so bad. I had 1 bowel movement some hours later (maybe 6 hours?) and it was fine. I see now that I was lulled into a false sense of security. A week later I still needed help to poop again. I took another 2 like last time and, oh boy, did I have a tough time. I was up and down to the bathroom at least 5 times and my stomach was in shambles. I felt like I had self inflicted diarrhea. On top of caring for my newborn. I was carrying him into the bathroom in his bouncer with me every half hour, subjecting his innocent nose to Chernobyl levels of diarrhea. Not sure if it was something I ate along with the ExLax but I was regretting my decision to take 2 tablets, and was even googling how to reverse the side effects of laxatives (lol). This went on until late at night when I scarfed down a bunch of apple sauce and that seemed to help slow things down again! I would hate to be caught out in public when these pills kick in! You better find a bathroom QUICK!
