Excellent Product
I've eaten these for 50+ years! Very good product. I would prefer the flavorings from 50 years ago, but that's not likely. โบ๏ธ But I still like the current product. I like to smash the hotdog and mix it with vegan mayonnaise and pickle relish. Makes a great sandwich filling which I've eaten since childhood.

Disappointed
My order came on time which is appreciated but the box was busted open on one end and 3 food cans were dented. That's never happened before and I was surprised to see the condition of my items. The order was costly and and I don't expect my orders to be delivered in such way.

Will never purchase again
I've been buying Worthington Foods veggie links for years I don't know if the fact that it now just says Loma Linda on the label and the Worthington is missing If the product has changed I bought a 12 pack for a gift for Christmas and none of them were edible they were really mushy and the flavor was terrible so it was a waste of $77 then I recently bought a case of six for me and six for my son I just opened my first can took a bite and I had to spit it into a paper towel it was terrible flavor horrible and super mushy so I don't know again if this is a different product but this is the last time I will ever place an order for Loma Linda vigilance and I have been a vigilante eater for 40 years but no more it's a shame they're not returnable because now I've got five cans that I have no idea what to do with

vegetarian "hot dog" with versatility
First of all, if you're wondering, this does have it's own taste, it is not a bland item that has to be totally flavored. It tastes similar to a hot dog (does not taste like a sausage), and has a meat-like texture. These are a softer texture and a smaller link than the SuperLink from same company. I have used them in hot dogs (I usually heat them up first in a pan with some olive oil, ketchup and 1/2 tsp of Bragg liquid aminos to sort of great a more meaty flavor), I have sliced them up and put them into the mix when cooking black beans and rice and it was very good and gave a meaty flavor and texture. I have given them to some meat eating friends who said it was not a bad substitute and said they would eat it again.

Longtime Veja-Link fan
I ran across Vega-Links a few decades ago in a Seventh-Day Adventist grocery during one of my brief stints with vegetarianism (not based on any religious belief). I really enjoyed the Vega-Links but moved on in different dietary directions. Then three years ago, decided to again go vegetarian for health reasons and recalled my fondness for Vega-Links. If anything, today I enjoy them even more and am so glad Loma Linda is still making and selling them. I encourage you to try them as a viable substitute among all the new plant-based offerings. For me, Vega-Links have held their own for all these many years.

Cans do not open from the top. You have to turn them over and open them from the bottom.
The product is okay but if you don't know you have to open it from the bottom of the can, like I didn't know, I broke several can openers trying to figure it out.

Great alternative to meatless hot dogs.
They taste like hot dogs and are good served in sandwich spread or eaten fried
