So far, it works great
We used this along with the Ditra mat for installing outdoor tile on our front porch. The porch has some small cracks & we didn't want to tear it out & put in more concrete. This not only made for an easy fix, but with the new non-slip tile that looks like wood, our front porch looks better than ever. Our neighbors love it & have given their compliments on it. Can't speak to how it will hold us as it's only been down about 3 weeks. If there's a problem, I'll return here & update this comment (April 24). This product & the Ditra mat were very easy to work with & we'd use both again. Price is high but everything is these days.

Expensive, but hopefully worth it!
This stuff is pretty great. It’s a little hard to work with, but not too difficult with some practice! It helps further waterproof seams etc after using the Kerdi board. It’s terribly expensive though! I used the whole system (Kerdi board, pipe covers, tape, fix, screws…). It’s easily $300+ more than the old regular backer board and materials! I sure hope it does what it says! It’s supposed to be the best!

High quality waterproofing
During our bathroom addition our building contractor recommended the Schluter Kerdi Waterproofing products for our new walk-in shower. We ordered the full line of Schluter Kerdi products needed to get the shower waterproofed. I relied on the contractor's skills for the installation so I cannot speak to how easily the products are to work with, but it all went together in what I thought was a very timely manner. I have no regrets using the Schluter Kerdi products.

Very demanding product to install but result is great if done properly.
I was putting in a new shower on a OSB floor. The floor could not take the weight of a conventional dry set moratr base. Went with the Schluter Kerdi system instead. There are many videos on youtube. Watch them! Every one! This is a very demanding process. If you do it right it is an amazing product. Try to skip steps or do it "your way," and you are courting disaster. And most importantly, use only unmodified thinset mortar applying this product and adhering tile to it.
