Great product!
Bought to hang a tv in our pergola outback. It was easy to install and very sturdy!

Very sturdy mount that is easy to assemble and has plenty of adjustability.
I used this to mount a tv from the floor joists in my basement. It is easy to assemble and very sturdy. I used it to mount a 56" Samsung TV. I really liked the adjustability of the mount. When I first installed it, I had some glare on the TV screen from the lighting in the basement, but I was able to adjust the angle to minimize the glare. I also like the abilty to run the cords inside the vertical tube. The only thing I disliked, was the corner of the plastic cover for the upper mount was broken when I received it, but since it is mounted in the floor joists, it isn't visible. I liked the mount enough to purchase a second one.

We were wanted to mount our tv in the family room above the fire place (due to orientation of room), but the wall on which the fireplace sat is covered with stone/tile and we did not want to drill into it. So we knew that we would need to mount to ceiling. This was absolutely perfect, super easy to mount and you can adjust the height and tilt! We hid the wiring using another product, ran the wire along ceiling and wall.

Perfect for my gazebo. Was able to mount it off the frame. Easy to use instructions as well

I spent SO LONG researching and looking at mounts for my 65” TV. I specifically wanted to mount it to a cross beam in my basement, which is on the ceiling. This mount has been up for about a month and it’s been great. It wasn’t SUPER easy to install, but with two people it was fine. It took about two hours from start to finish. It’s very sturdy, even when you bump into it (or have a dog that likes to walk underneath it), it will sway a little bit, but still remain extremely sturdy. No weird creaking noises or anything like that. The material is nice and heavy, too. I would definitely buy this mount again if I got a second TV.

Used in Condo installation and love the white pole blending in nicely with ceiling and wall colours. Went together nicely, no issues with installation

This Kanto ceiling mount is attractive and sturdy. I am disappointed with a few aspects of the mount, especially considering the price tag. The feature that allows the tv to be mounted on a slanted ceiling is impossible to secure into place, no matter how much it is tightened. Things means that the mounting pole hangs on an angle. This makes the bracket look cheap. It also wobbles from this same point. The tv does swivel, but with great difficulty. The swivel feature is dependent upon how tightly the pole is secured into the mounting plate. If you tighten the pole so it doesn’t wobble, it becomes almost impossible to swivel the tv. The cosmetic covers on the mounting plate do not allow for a cord to pass underneath, so the cord has to circumvent the mount plate, for a less clean look. Other Kanto mounts I have had allowed for the base to be attached to the studs but for the mount to be adjusted into a desirable position. For this mount, it was necessary to open up the ceiling and add 2x6s between the joists. It is an attractive mount, but considering the effort, cost and the deficits in design/functionality, I am disappointed.
