Gator is a premium quality product, but the price reflects it. Heavy duty and good quality for commercial type use for DJ’s, mobile sound reinforcement, etc. worth the few extra bucks you pay for it.

Dont know how folks could say this is weak? I thought maybe they sent me the wrong one. It was sturdy, heavy duty, and needed no modification. It works perfectly for the Kustom personal PA and the Kuston subwoofer. It is very strong, has a locking pin, and extends much further than I need it to. Perfection and great value.

This is a pretty simple device and there's not a lot to get wrong! It is sturdy and well made. The height-locking mechanism is simple and reliable. I did deduct 1 star from sturdiness only because my speakers tend to "stick" on the top of the pole causing the pole to want to pull out of the sub before the speaker comes off. This could be a problem with my speakers OR sub though.

I'd give zero stars for poor customer service if I could. I purchased the item listed as Standard Subwoofer mount GFW-SPK-SUB60 for 34.99ea shows a description "Customizable Height: Extends from 35” to 60” (889mm to 1524mm) for optimal sound placement". SPECIFICALLY because of the 60". You can see in the description and the advert pictures stating "extends from 35 to 60". The 2pk version of GFW-SPK-SUB60 for 46.00 shows a measurement of "Min / Max Height: 35/54 Inches (889/1372 mm)" Same model number two different heights. I purchased 2 of the individual at 34.99 each solely because it stated the height difference, and just realized dealing with the seller that they are the exact same model number (and the 2pk is way cheaper) and one measurement is correct (35in to 54in) and the one I purchased is incorrect. Contacted seller and he kept saying that these extend to 60" when clearly they do not. FFS just admit that you have a typo and your advertising is wrong and fix it. EDIT - UPDATED: All of the information above is correct and I finally got to someone who actually opened up a package and measured the actual pole. From a customer service perspective they did make up for the issue and apologized for the error on packaging and have reached out to the company to make them aware of the issue. Changing my rating from 1 to 3 stars. But again.. just make sure you know what size you really need and if these are going to work for you or not. The material, the make, finish is all fantastic and super quality... but just the measurements are not correct.

It's metal and holds a Behringer battery powered PA speaker up on top of a real old sub woofer I had around. Life is good. Thanks Gator!

I'm using a pair of these with my HK actor rig when I want a sub and top on each side. Very impressed compared to the old poles I had. Seem really solid and I don't have any worries about them holding some hefty top speakers. Brill

Great sub pole. Fits perfectly into Yorkville mobile sub with Yorkville mobile 8 speakers. Operates smoothly and adjustable as described. Collapses to a short manageable size for gigging.

Good quality light and sturdy sub pole for reasonable price.
