Mysore Sandal Soap, 150g (Pack of 3)

I love this soap. It is the only soap I use now. Unlike other soaps, this soap does not cause skin irritation nor deplete skin of natural oils. The fragrance is very pleasant and doesn't smell artificial. I only have to order once every 6 months or so as each large round bar of soap is very long lasting, and it comes in a 3-pack, that saves money. I even use it for hand-washables as the fragrance makes the clothing smell fresh.

Smells nice. Good for skin conditions. Family favorite.

This is old fashion sandalwood soap. Soap does tend to dry the skin, but that's what it does. Its not a BBW product. And I have dry skin. But, I like the scent it leaves behind and it cleans very well. It will leave a soap film in the shower, but again its good old fashioned soap, that's what it does. You will have to scrub your tub clean afterwards especially if you live with the hard water in Texas. I always use a good moisturizer after I shower, and that helps. It works well with my other sandalwood products. I'd recommend it.

I like the nice lather and scent. The sandalwood scent is nice and mostly natural.

I do not think there is a similar product made in the U.S. At least I have not encountered anything similar. When I use this soap on my skin I smell exactly the smells I would expect from high quality Indian sandalwood incense. It is a higher quality smell if sandalwood than that you may smell from an essential oil under $20. It has the hints of smoke, spice, and sweetness in one. The smell does not linger in the bathroom too long but it is strong enough that you can smell some on your skin. Very nice.

Absolutely, love.This soap in the smell is fantastic. When you come into your bathroom, you'll smell it.And if you enjoy getting a little scent of this lovely soap. It's not overpowering, and it doesn't leave a strong scent on your skin.I think it's great

Dear Consumers, let me first preface this with, I'm not normally a soapy kind of guy, but since i was a kid i have had skin allergies and constantly have to be careful of allergic reactions to soaps and shampoos and colognes and even women's perfumes from time to time... I even had to tailor my own kind of antiperspirant down to one non-allergenic brand.. anyway... about three years ago a friend bought me some Sandalwood soap and wow... it was awesome... great smell, long lasting and most of all no reaction at all... well i ran out and never replaced it.. over the time i have been trying to find the same one and not had much success... so yet again i went in search of soap and found this on, so I bought it, this Mysore brand... And Oh My Holiness... Listen.... This stuff never made it to my bathroom okay, that's how bad this stuff is... And i mean that literally i opened the amazon package, then opened the sealed package containing the soap and then the smell hit me... I wouldn't give this stuff to my worst enemy.. figure of speech... but its true... this stuff is awful.. smells like nothing more than IVORY.. .TRUST Me.... i have been through every brand you can find in walmart, grocery stores, CVS, walgreens, Hooks (in the old days) and more... and this is nothing but IVORY based soap... YUCK...... sadly i brought this on myself... i went cheap and bought three for $10 bucks... now i will just save my self the sensory sadness and buy the best brand i can find for more if i have to... I'm sorry, whoever makes this stuff.. really needs to go back to formula..... i mean i suppose there are a good many people that like it.. as its been around forever according to online reviews and statements, but i am sure all of them use IVORY too.. which i cant stand the smell of nor tolerate on my skin.. so back to the drawing board for me.. oatmeal soap.. until i find the one sandalwood that is right for me. Spend your money on something that is a better quality and better scented sandalwood this is a knock-off trying being passed off as sandalwood... Okay I'm done... just had to share because i cant believe anyone really likes this stuff and want to save you the grief of facing the awful smell... Kind Regards, and best of luck soap hunting..

Ich habe mir die drei Seifen mit Sandelholz für 13 € bestellt und bin absolut zufrieden. Wenn ich ins Badezimmer reinkomme, riecht man die Seife schon direkt, der Duft ist angenehm stark. Wenn man sich damit einseift und die Hand nah an die Nase hält, riecht man das Sandelholz richtig gut. Geht man mit der Hand weiter weg, verfliegt es und ist nicht zu aufdringlich.Die Qualität ist super: Es ist eine richtig feste Seife, die man gut festhalten kann. Sie ist deutlich härter und hochwertiger als die billigen Seifen, die man zum Beispiel beim Penny kauft. Lieferung kam im Karton, war nicht beschädigt und alles wie beschrieben. Kann ich absolut empfehlen!

Its easy to see why this is one of the top selling soap bars, the bar itself is well formed into an easy to use shape { round } fits into the hand { mine are large hands } on unpacking the scent of sandalwood quickly permeates the bathroom leaving a clean subtle smell. Once activated the soap gives off a good lather and the scent of sandalwood is transferred to the skin, its a pleasure to use, wet shavers can easily shave with it if needed { body and face , male or female } it rinses away quickly living the skin soft and clean { me a smelly manual working man } I can still smell the clean smell well into the evening off my skin so it seems to act as a body deodorant , Its a brilliant product that has been well tested around the world over many years, I can see why the Indians are proud of it and so they should be.
