Excellent selection of high quality push button switches to repair all your expensive electronics!
This set of push button switches was exactly what I needed to repair my $1200 Miele vacuum. The hose handle has buttons to control the power on, suction strength and the floor beater brush. After 12 years of flawless function, the power button on the handle stopped working. I had taken it apart many times and discovered that the button inside was broken. I'd never seen such a tiny button before and had no idea where I would get a replacement. The cost to replace the Miele SES130 hose and handle was $270. I was beyond thrilled when I came across this inexpensive set of button switches as I noticed one that was exactly like the one inside my vacuum handle. I have pretty basic soldering skills but I was confident that I could desolder the broken button and put in a new one so I ordered this set. The button matches exactly and I was able to replace the broken button and fix my vacuum cleaner hose. It works like new now and I have other small electronics around the house with damaged buttons or that I no longer use because their power buttons stopped working that I plan to replace with other switches from this kit. Keep in mind you will need to have a soldering iron and solder and know what you're doing in order to replace broken buttons but if you are comfortable with that kind of work this kit can fix almost any small electronic on/off buttons that you have.

Super selection of some really tiny switches
Huge variety of switches. Some are really small! I needed some 6mm tactile switches with button stems long enough to reach out of the enclosure. They had three different lengths in the kit - perfect.

Large Selection Of Tactile Push Button Switches
I needed to replace a switch that was in a remote for a Liftmaster Garage Door Opener. When I pressed the button (green) to open the door, the light didn't light and the door would not open. The other two buttons (Red and Yellow) did light, and work correctly. After taking the remote apart, I found that the switch that operates the Open circuit was not working. I could jump between the two terminals on the board, and get the light to light. I found this kit on Amazon that looked like it had the switch in it I needed, which was the 6x6x5 bracket that I show on the orange card. I removed the old switch (soldering involved), and replaced it with the new switch from the Qteatak selection of switches. The operation worked! Remote works good - this fix was relatively easy to do - and saved me $55.00 for a new remote, having to reprogram the opener in my shop, and I have a HUGE selection of switches for the future. Yes - 5 stars!!!

Why use metal for casing on soldering buttons
Some of the buttons have metal casing on the top to hold them together. These work if you're good at soldering. If you suck or are a beginner like me you need to be extra careful not to bridge to it. I used heat tape to help prevent this. Buttons work well, fair amount of force to push but I'll get used to it (used for a switch pro controller mod)

Great kit for repairs and projects, good selection of buttons.
Exactly what I needed to replace the power button on a HP laptop. This kit was a good value over just buying the single button and should be good for other repairs and projects. I also really appreciate the case that keeps everything organized. It comes with various sizes of though hole and surface mount buttons. It's been several months and the new button is still working great. In my case I found that this was more cost-effective than getting a replacement power board, however I do own a hot air station and soldering tools that made replacing the surface mounted button easy. Regular soldering tools are good for replacing through hole components (and even installing larger surface mounted parts), but a hot air station (even a cheap one) is recommended for removing surface mounted parts (at least on a regular basis). Overall I'm very pleased with the kit and would definitely repurchase if I run out. 5 stars.

very tiny I had to bush up on my miniature soldering skills to even try the first one..
These tiny switches are great, smooth solid switch clicks, easily placed due to size. I did however overheat the first attempt while soldering. plan everything.
