Would you consider this product to be a mouse replacement specifically for people with hand problems due to overuse?

It is an excellent product and although I still use a mouse, the touchpad is great for moving the cursor and for multifinger gestures. Its use as a mouse replacement is feasible, although I prefer to use both.

Having problems with this. Worked perfect at first, but now the cursor freezes & won't move. Tried reinstalling driver, but no luck. HELP?

Leeann, Had & used a touchpad for several months and never had the freezing situation. Instead, after using the T650 for a long time, it became MORE & MORE sensitive (i.e. a very light touch would select whatever the cursor was pointing at).Suspect a hardware failure.I reported my prb to Logitech support and after a couple weeks trying their suggestions, they finally agreed it was product defect and said they would replace it. HOWEVER, when they saw that I had purchased it from Amazon (via an Amazon Marketplace Seller) they said it was NOT covered by the warranty and thus they would not replace it (and Amazon didn't stand behind the seller or me). Fortunately, I had reported the prb to the seller along with Logitech's email the unit was defective and the seller ( Outlet Digital) and they agreed to a refund (not a cash refund but an Amazon gift card) - the touchpad was 7 months old.

It does work on 7, with normal trackpad gestures. It will not perform all Windows 8 gestures as the OS is different, but most gestures work accordingly.http://support.logitech.com/product/touchpad-t650
