Light. Good build quality. Portable. Was actually very surprised at build quality for the price. Sturdy. Doesn't wobble with a 15"MBP on it. Would recommend to anyone who travels. Keep in mind your wrists will be angled. For a home only solution with flat wrist position, I'd recommend a Griffen elevator with extra wireless keyboard. But for travel, this is perfect. Came in a cool box too. Would recommend. Update: this thing has traveles thru 4 States with me. People who see me working on it, I will get at least 1-2 people a day who ask about it and want to take a pic of it so they can order one for themselves. It's held up well and doesn't feel like it will break anytime soon. My neck doesn't hurt anymore form tilting my head down to look at the screen. Only problem is when you get used to it, it's hard to work without it or without a higher desk

I thought this would be too flimsy for my heavy, 6+ lb. MIDI touchpad music controller, but it works perfectly. I really love the compact, collapsing design which fits in my equipment case and the rubberized texture finish gives it extra quality. I'm not completely sure what material it's made of (nylon), but it seems similar to the type used for ballistics (firearm handles, etc.) and heavy duty Pelican cases, among other things. So it feels very strong, despite being very lightweight and compact. Silicon pads grip the table and keep my equipment from slipping around. One minor wish is that it could adjust height / angle beyond the 30/26 degree adjustments. Sometimes, I need to lower the angle a bit further, but 26 deg. is the lowest it will go. At this price point, I'm planning to buy a couple more for my other music equipment.

Awesome lil gadget to keep your laptop upright for better ergonomics while on the road or to set next to your monitor. I wish it had more extension or was reversible to allow for vertical standing. Over really good, packable and functional.

Once the laptop stand is expanded to its full width, the angle of the support rails cannot be adjusted. The way the mechanism works, makes the distance between the base rails dictate the angle of the incline. I've found that in order to reduce the angle, I needed to keep the rails much closer together. That resulted in loss of stability and rails without being locked in the fully expanded position would start sliding towards each other under the weight of the laptop. I had to place a notebook between the rails to prevent the whole thing from collapsing. Other than this design flaw - the stand is ok. If I had to buy a laptop stand again I would look for a different design though.
