Fellowes Powershred Performance Shredder Oil, 12 fl oz, Extended Nozzle Bottle

Good day! I never thought I would be writing a review about shredder oil, but here we are. A while back, my shredder made a horrible noise and completely jammed up after trying to shred a stack of old papers. I was pretty sure it was headed for the trash. Before giving up, I decided to try this Fellowes shredder oil. I applied the oil to the stuck paper and along the cutting blades, then let it sit for several minutes. To my surprise, the shredder started working again. The paper came out, the blades moved freely, and it sounded much smoother than before. What impressed me most is how little oil it takes to do the job. The bottle is pretty large, so I expect it to last for years. These days, I use it about once a month after shredding roughly 400 to 500 pages at home. It only takes a minute, and it seems to help keep the shredder running smoothly and prevent the kind of jam that made me buy this in the first place. It is not the most exciting thing to buy, but if you own a shredder, this stuff is definitely worth having around. It may just save you from replacing your shredder machine.

Can't complain. Good quality and does the job. Cheaper than others.

This thing is a lifesaver. We jammed our shredder and thought we'd never get it unjammed, but this oil helped within minutes. It's arrived without any spills and we only need to use enough to coat the jammed paper in the shredder. After around 5-7minutes of letting the paper absorb all the oil, also applying on the blades from each side of the shredder, it was good to go! There is a lot of oil that comes with this bottle and I'm sure it will help keep our shredder in great condition. Would definitely recommend!

It works and you don't need a lot of the product. We just make an X on a page and run it through. This lubricates the blades without the excess dribbling it across the cutters. Oh one tip, Don't cut the nozzle too deep! Keep in small so you don't dump oil everywhere. We bought two bottles and accidently clipped the tip to far down. It gets very messy if you're not careful. Good product should last years.

Works as expected, keeps the old shredder working great

Great quality from the bottle all the way to the product inside. The design of the Made it easy to pour the oil into the shredder for it to start working like new again. Also helped with a no drip mess so keeps for a great storage as well.

Original Fellows shredder oil. Useful for maintaining the efficiency of shredders. This helps lubricate the moving parts. However, it may not remove any residue of gum or glue, which often comes with paper that is being shredded. I'm not sure whether there's a solution for that, or if the shredder should be opened up and cleaned with a suitable material. As far as this product is concerned, it is a lubricant that has been time-tested to perform its intended function. A bit expensive in India as it's imported, and thus 1 star less.

A light oil that does the job well.
